Great Victory!
Nice start for Reja. The squad visibly plays more like a unit. Ledesma's inclusion is important, eventhough he did not excelled, he is always in the middle of the park directing play and back tracking when we loose the ball. We were lucky not to concede at beginnings of 2nd half, some great goalkeeping of Muslera, but after that we could have score even more then we did, we even scored a valid goal that was not given.
Overall the team seems to have more ideas and energy. Great step in the right direction.

OMG what a game!!! ...i haven't see this much chances for a very long time...finally some happiness...
...the players give 110% bravo for all of them....

I am very happy , we deserved and we believed in that victory. It is tough though , because it is Italy and we are not a team who can be superior from the start of the game and stay like this all the time. It is to early as well to judge what Reja have done or not , but the effect of the coach change is there and we took that very precious three points.
We have so many work to do now , to be again where we deserve to be , but there is certainly hope. I like the Rocchi Floccari partnership and I totally agree with Reja to bench Zarate. Despite his goal today he needs some more matches to start from the bench and to be always hungry to prove himself and his value.

Massively important win, obviously. Maybe just as importantly, we showed decent football and desire to play and win. The players were sometimes smiling at each others instead of just glaring or whining at the ref (I am so happy the little bitch Jimenez isn't our player anymore, btw). I don't know if this is Reja's influence or they are just happy Cowardini is gone. But you could hear Reja a lot, yelling encouragement to his players, maybe this positive approach played its role. Hell, Zarate was even smiling on the bench instead of being pissed for not starting!

Stendardo and Radu were great at the back, almost all of Parma's dangerous attacks were through Biava and Lichtstenier's zone. Floccari showed some amazing dribbling and pressing, plus a very nice assist. He needs to pass more, though but him and Zarate have a potential to be a deadly duo if they gell and start finding each other better.

Talking of passing, Kolarov really got on my nerve when he shot instead of passing to Firmani who would have been left with an empty net. Thank goodness we won anyway.

Oh, and the ref was appalling. gave both teams plenty of non-existent free kicks, denied us a clear penalty when the ball was cleared with a hand from the goalline (or maybe even from behind the goalline).

Not going to get carried away by this one. Ballardini took on a poisoned chalice that left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth; the arrival of Reja was always going to boost spirits.

That's one win out of the five necessary for survival. That, for me, is all it is. I expect more but at the minute, it is too early to say if this improved performance is temporary or permanent.

I believe in our squad, I always have done and today they delivered a result and a performance in parts that did me proud.

As usampa said, there is much more to be done, it is an essential three points and the most important thing about today is that we worked hard and fought from the off.

This was like a breath of life injected back into the club, it was all we could have wanted at this time, all we needed. There were encouraging signs and a few nervous moments but we deserved to win and carried on playing after getting one goal....

Could not see the first half, but the second started not to good. We just couldn't keep hold of Biabiany, the defenders looked exposed at times and Muslera made at least one excellent save.

However bringing Zarate on was the key and he helped us score, albeit it was from a corner he earned. Was kinda interesting to see Floccari assisting for the second goal in Zarate-style and Mauro scoring Floccari-style :)

Scrappy win but that's what you get at that end of the table. And it's MASSIVELY important for the coach to start with a win, and for us to get out of the bottom.

Until last weekend I did not believe we could be in a relegation battle, but after loss in Catania I was beginning to worry. But now I'm sure it's going to be fine. We just need

AVANTI LAZIO!

Edit: Just seen the highlights of the first half. How on earth Parma did not score, we were extremely fortunate at the start.

oh my god FINALY.... YEAH......

wow...we won :) we actually did it :) Couldn't see much of the game cause of some crappy streams but I think we fought well. FORZA LAZIO!
