first 15-20 mins we were ok. first two chances from corners. Rocchi misses one on one ( again!) and then Floc scores. For the first time this season I thought we are playing well. Oh and Zarate? the best 20 mins I ever saw from him - attacking, passing, defending. but after we scored we changed to our old mentality - went back to defending the result (which absolutely never works). samp pushed us back in our half. fine. their first real chance came in the 20th minute when a cross goes in and donno who misses to tap in the ball. their first shot - 30 min and it's a f*cking goal. the ball flies past 4 ppl of ours and it doesn't take a deflection. f*cking unlucky. Muslera doesn't see it and it's a goal. then Samp continues with the pressure, cause them unlike us continue to play when they score and a nice 1-2 pass pazzini scores. and that is it. until the end when we had a shot at goal thanks to Floc.
If reja thinks he can get sent off every game he must think twice. Rocchi is an absolute hole. didn't do sh1t Zarate played good for 20 mins. The defense actually played pretty good.
and can't f*cking believe Mauri blocked Kolarov's shot which IMO was going in. and after Floc's shot couldn't hit the rebound home..... maaaaaaan..........
P.S. Superb Muslera!!!!

well..someone decided Lazio - Viola is a good game to protest and leave the team without support and thought we can get something against Samp. well we could win against viola if it wasn't for that goal in the 92nd and we could get something if it wasn't for that F*CKING LUCKY shot in the 29th ( for me that is what turned the game around). We have some tough games at home...I believe we can do it. FORZA LAZIO

Don't worry Erme, we have Mauri instead of Rocchi and Zarate, and we haven't had a coach since the beginning of the season, so it's the same old situation!

Do you actually think someone was planning to get anything from the Sampdoria-game when he decided to go through with the protest? Do you really think that was an argument?

Yeah. 1-2 away to Sampdoria is not very unexpected. What worrys me is that Reja is just as insecure as Ballardini, with the difference that Reja has an own opinion and is able to stand by it.
I was in either case completely wrong about him and how he would handle this situation.

Whole team play as smelling as. Maybe the worse performance this season. I wonder, I really do if players take this situation seriously.
Now the battle is not only with Udinese and Catania but Livorno, Atalanta and even Siena are pretty close. Next 3-4 games are more ''easy" for us and we must take that advantage. Every point counts twice from today on.

hmm I don't agree Jofo - the first 20 mins are the best I've seen all season. PLus we were hardly under pressure. The best thing Samp did all game was the second goal. everything else was under control. we are stable in the back but still can't create and the few we create we miss

Roman, actually we sucked the whole game. Reja landed 4-3-3 with no support on the wings, to play against team who play with two attacking wingers. Like this, we put Radu and Diakite on fire, and we risked big time, because we obviously didn’t had substitute for the trio upfront (in case to concede one goal plus). There was no connection between midfield and attack, only thing I saw was long passes from everybody on the field, and one I would say happy occasion and goal from Floccari.
After this game I personally am pretty disappointed from Reja. First because I think that he changed the whole tactic because the glory hunter Zarate, and second because the fact that he has 888 years and until now he doesn’t know how to control himself.

Are u kidding me. We scored in 6 min and immediately after that we face pressure. How many chances do we have, how many times our players were dancing in the defense like headless chickens. We didn't control the game at all. I mean you can tell from the 10min that we will crack and we did.
btw I was watching the game on 80cm TV - you on stream. I might saw things little bit better.

After a game like this i can say only one word - smelling as!
I mean, soooo many things didn't go our way, for so many things we got ourselves to blame, from the players to the coach, but also we lost on two goals that Samp will never ever score this season. Yeah, we were to much on a defending mode, there was no wing support, the midfield was useless, as well as Rocchi, but that's nothing new.
I honestly believe that we are a better squad than Samp, as well as we are better than many of the clubs that are ahead of us in the table and that is what pisses me of every week. But, even the biggest clubs (that we are not) have miserable seasons and than comeback the next one much better. Now, with Lotito and Tare that will be hard to do, but i believe. As well as i believe that we will stay in Seria A.
And please stop comparing Reja and Balla. When the second one gave no human reactions no matter what happened on the field, we were mad, now, when we have a coach with fire and heart, we are again mad at him. C'mon, he may be too fiery, but still i would always chose a coach like that.

What exactly did Reja say. Come on, there are coaches who swear and scream and are in your face and never get red carded.
I was also watching the merda-Milan game, and you should have seen the show there - Ronaldinho flailing his arms, cursing all over, Ambrosini diving, challenges from behind, Taddei losing a challenge and cursing and taking off his gloves and throwing them on the floor, and nothing. Not even a yellow.
So it makes me wonder why was Zarate red carded for a verbal protest. Why was Reja red carded for a verbal protest. Why was Ledesma yellow carded for a verbal protest. Why was kolarov yellow carded for the first foul of the game.
That Brighi fucker can suck my balls, pardon my french.

I thought we were supposed to revert back to 4-3-1-2? Starting away at Samp with 4-3-3 was always suicide.

im so mad right now... ..yeah everybody say that Zarate should pass but whom to ?!? - he give a great ball to Rocchi and he find that goalkeeper in 7meters long goal (32 old captain striker shouldn't act like that) ...after that he made a stupid foul near the 16m of our goal - and after that foul we receive the goal...Rocchi should be sub in the first period.... ..Muslera was sleeping and he wake up after we received 2 goals....and Makinwa in - OMG is he a player...i bet that any kid from football streets can play better than him....Reja should enter some midfielder at Rocchi place and not Makinwa...and Mauriiii - i don't have words for him (he is out of space).... ....many say that our defence play bad - i think that our defence is the best thing this season.....this game also Kolarov was out or mind as midfielder...
...best player at this game was Radu...and as usually Floccari....i feel so sorry for Zarate, i think he is the player with most talent in the world and also he plays with most passion of all other Lazio players... ..we have defence and just 2 great strikers (Zarate and Floccari) ...again i think that we play most bad in midfield...

we also have tv here and trust me we played a lot better than we used to under balla. about the chances - Rocchi, Floccari and Mauri for sure. how many did samp have? it doesn't matter players were dancing in defense - final say is Muslera had nothing to do except to cut out some crosses

It seemed to me that we were playing at Olimpico thanks to 1700 Laziali who supported the team throughout all the match. Proud and loud, as one. We gave them what they asked for, but what did we get back? There is no determination, not giving everything, the players look empty, scared, tired and it cannot just be due to a foolish athletic preparation made during the summer.
Still, despite the defeat and the 12 hours spent on a damn coach, this morning I woke up smiling. The Marassi's "Cage" and the away end upper level filled with Laziali yesterday did remind me I am part of a fantastic people, which has understood the need has come and stepped onto the pitch, at the side of the Eagle.
"Heart on fire, head on ice" it's a quote rowers love to repeat and I think it fits well almost all sports. Unfortunately for Lazio, this season it's more "heart on ice, head on fire". Come on guys you know we can come out of the sh1t. Vince sempre chi più crede!

their chances: the cross from the left which they missed. the shot which turned out to be a goal. the 1-2 passing which lead to a goal. the second half corner which they missed a sitter. everything else was a product of our all attacking to get back in to the game
Our chances: Two headers in the first minutes that are not on the highlights. rocchi's miss, floccari's goal. Kolarov's shot being blocked by Mauri, Floccari's shot being saved and then Mauri not being able to hit it home.
Not a big difference if you ask me having in mind we play against a tough home team. we are not barca, we can't play fancy. still we get chances
