Our New Logo

Hi. As you know we are working, hard, to create a new forum and a web site.
This task is possible thanks to all our Team members efforts.
Many targets are still " work in progress" and one of them , very important , is the new logo.
As a matter of fact i did already one that is quite similar to the present with some little changes but , still, is not what i had in mind and what i am not good to do due to my lack of skill with photo editing.

Let me explain what we are looking for and how:

A logo that can be useful for: The web site\ the forum\ the picture gallery\ and so on...

One Logo \one Name\ different sections.

Look at the original one in the Home page:
1) Background : the world as it is
2) The Motto : as it is
3) The Eagle : as it is or slightly different
--------------------------------------------

Now the new one should have :

The same Background\motto\Eagle
And
The Main LogoName ( our flag ) instead of SS Lazio official logo
The Section Name: Fever forum Or LazioWorld Gallery or LaziMania

Fonts: ASH
Colour: White and Blue as the LazioStyle shop logo( avoid the very light blue)

Sizes: Logo Banner for forum 1040 x200
The others : To be setted.

The eagle could be this one but cleaned from the background..




So , basically , the logo is going to be similar to the original one but with some differences because the new NAME for the House is LAZIOLAND .

please avoid any pixel explosions, dramatic effects, blur, or anything that is terrific. We work on Minimal Style. Clean and Straight image.

Well, I made a logo. Tell me what you are think about it, be free to criticise, praise. Any feedback are welcome.

Wow, I like it mate. The only thing I really don't like is the tone of the blue colour of the text. Maybe it should be a little bit lighter (Lazio-style )

That's why I choose the same blue as Lazio Shop logo. But there is no problem to change it if needed.

I'm sorry to say this but that picture of the eagle is kind of dorky, and although you did very well Secret, the eagle doesn't fit very well...

The eagle from our current logo is much cooler...


And while I'm already ranting and whining, I repeat I don't know why we use the head of the Bald Eagle that is found only in North America when the Aquila Imperiale is this dude here

i've changed the eagle, because Ermetico's eagle looks like puking. I see some mistakes here, but i'll fix them later, don't have much time now

Just an idea for a simpler design, I think maybe the eagle images are a bit too detailed for a graphic banner (plus I agree with Sile that bald eagles aren't quite right for our icon)... The actual flag with a more graphic eagle is good but in the context of a narrow banner it may not work?

i like it Ed suggestion most..although Cornholio and Secret_S last suggestion is good but i think that we give to much detail to the eagle so little remind me like Animal Planet page

Here, I posted my Lazio tattoo. Some guys saw it.

Naturally I don´t want to have my tattoo as a logo, but how do you find the idea - if we take an eagle and put also there the date since Laziofever exists.

At my tattoo there is the birthdate of my son in roman letter. We can do this with the birthdate of laziofever.

I am confused by the name of the thread. I saw the word logo first, then I only see banners. Don't you need a real logo for the new website?

I agree and thanks for your first efforts.

My advices:
1) The colours: too far from the original ones / see Laziostyle log
2) The font : is ok and please be free to use something similar to the ASH font if you like another one.
3) The Eagle: about the eagle i think that the one of our original banner is the best because it is quite perfect for the expression, shades and white around it.


About the difference between a Banner and a Logo as il Capitano underlined.

For me the Logo is the flag reduced to one perfect square :


And inside the Banner we can add the logo as i did in the picture.

I did this quickly, maybe it's not what you are looking for. If I have understand it right, the logo of Lazioland is the actual flag and we are looking for a banner of the future site, including the logo in it?






Erme, could you please upload the flag but without tbe blue part of it, just the letters and the eagle? And if someone have the original eagle of the current banner?

Nice one Samadhi, the graphic eagle looks great on the left.
A few suggestions - text needs to be central, maybe resize other images or text.
I would also like to see it without the blue fading in from left edge.

And a few general ideas for the logo - the blues that are to be used are too intense and saturated, I think they could
do with being toned down a bit, especially for the map behind, it is a background after all.

Further to Sile's toughts about the choice of eagle, it definitely doesn't look right just having a bald eagles head
in my opinion. I think that it would look far better in flight, and preferably a golden or imperial eagle.

This last one I really like.

I want to help, as I follow Ermetico signature Don't ask what SS lazio can do for you.
but what YOU can do for la SS Lazio
