i hope this is Makinwa`s season.... the talent is there... if he can focus i`m sure he`ll do a good job this season

I have always had confidence in Makinwa and if he is given fair opportunities this season at the club then I think he can recapture some of his past scintillating form when he was at Atalanta with Rossi as the coach there.

I have confidence in Rossi's trust about Makinwa and that is enough. He should be more persistent in his efforts. For now he is doing great in the training session...

Makinwa is a confidence player, once he finds the net in one or two competitive fixtures, he will then have the confidence to go on and push to be a regular.

Delio keeps trying him because he remembers the Atalanta days when Atalanta seemed doomed and Stephen saved them. I'm sure Delio still believse Makinwa can fire us up the table, although he can't expect to many more opportunities.

I agree with the Curva. Hope both of them would be sold asap. Lazio payed a very high price for Makinwa, who has hardly lived up to his expectations.. how many goals has he scored?

I guess he will be given quite a few chances as long as Rocchi is injured. Will he take the chance and become a player with some quality for us? I hope so! I really do! Before he came to us I saw him as a massive talent, but he has not developed into the class-player I thought he could...
In the friendlies I have watched he has not impressed, even though he has been given quite a lot of time...

We should sell him no matter what, hopefully we get some money. Zarate, Pandev, Rocchi, Inzaghi, Del Nero, Mendicio and Kozak are all better then him...

LofL, I liked your message (in the Rocchi thread) about scouts hopefully watching Makinwa score the hat-trick in that training match- maybe the best chance to get rid of him, although will anyone buy him? He was loaned last year and I have the feeling he may be a continual loanee, still picking up wages and turning out for us in a few matches at the start of each season and then going. Poor guy, he obviously is just not up to it as a striker. I do feel sorry for him but the solution is obvious for a player with no goals for a whole season. He would be best advised to try Serie B to get his confidence up, I mean Luca Toni was discarded by everyone for a while but did it for Palermo in B and then we know the goals came after that.

i think he will move away in january, his manager martina knows that there is no room left and delio rossi (the main sposor) lost confidence in the forward.
makinwa has to restart his career away from italy, he lost the opprtunity to play for his national team.
moving away it's the best thing for him, just like oba oba martins did.

unfortunately lazio wasted 6.8 mln. smelling as happens.

What happened in Atalanta stayes in Atalanta I mean the skills to score goals

From people I know that support and live in Osasuna I hear that they are looking for a striker (they need it badly), and that they are looking to bring Saviola from Real but also MAKINWA. It is only a rumour, no real good source but still it seems as if the word is out there and since he has no connection to Spain (from what i know) the rumour must have started somewhere....

Probably whoever that wants him would go for a loan-deal. If now someone would like to buy him, what price would he go for?How much did we pay for him in total transfer fee?
