Mourad Meghni

I believe this guy will come good for Lazio with a run of games. He can pass the ball, he can dribble past players and he is good at maintaining possesion.

Mourad is a starter nowadays?

i hope this year he dont get injured, i want to see him play more. i think its a good replace for uor titular players.

Really looking forward to seeing what Meghni can offer to us this year, as long as he stays fit. I think he is probably our most technical player, and he could be very useful in his new position. He seems to have upped his defensive game, i saw it for myself in Liverpool. Guy tracks back, puts in challenges, hustles the opponents. If he can keep it up for 90 minutes he could be a real surprise for us. We already know how good he can be going forward, and in this deeper position, where he may have a better vision of the game, i feel he can probably be more effective with his passing and through balls.

Heres hoping he can stay fit for a long period.

I agree, he is a lot better than people give him credit.

Remember his ball to Rocchi against Werder last season, brilliance.

Fitness is his only issue. If he keeps fit, he'll be like a new signing for us.

Fukin unbelievable. I mean a knee to the thigh?! what's the worst that can happen? well a muscle or a ligament could rupture but is he really this fragile?

Tired of this Meghni-saga. He will never develop! Every time he gets back to the pitch, it only takes him a few weeks to get injured again. Ahhhh! I am so tired of hoping that he will become a good solid player for us...

injury prone players shouldnt be counted on so much, thats one reason i think for rossi to always play mauri before meghni

THis just can't be? What's next? Totaly unbeliveble how he can get injured time after time, Is it him or is it our medical team that's underestamating the injuries letting him play before he is 100%fit?
Feel verry sorry for him he has great potential but will never become the star player everyone think he is capabel of if this injuries keeps following him throughout his career

well if he was hit with a knee in his thigh it's normal to have an injury...healthy players suffer also from these kinds of hit esp if they are hard... sometimes the muscle is teared after the hit

This is sad news for Mourad and Lazio as he has good potential and when given time he does play well. Its a real shame and very unfortunate and unlucky how it seems to happen so often to him. Hopefully he gets better sooner rather than later and has a good season. Get well soon Meghni!!!!

good skills, nice feet, but needs to learn how to get the ball fwd. Too much side stepping and holding in without passing it fwd...

He was maybe the best of Lazio today.....i love this guy from the beginning of the season.

He is great when 100% fit.

Although, too many zidane comparisons, and too little starts because of his injury prone body.

Lets hope he gets a roll on with his fitness. I love him feeding the Za-Pa combination. Its a perfect creative triangle.

He was my favorite player when he was playing for Bologna. I remember that he was called "new Zidane". I always wanted to see him playing for Lazio. Against Milan he was the best.

Yes Meghni delivered the ball very professionally to the strikers but they didnt used it. He had also 2 very dangerous shots on goal but abbiati saved the day for the milanmerda :(

We should reconsider his position.. you know he'll be perfect behind our attackers.
