IF hes ready to play....he is ALWAYS better than mauri....he has the skills to go trough if we look mauri he has the skills to fell down and he is the master of slowing down a counter attack. But yes...Mourad is a injury prone talent...sad but true...

let's hope edy reja can teach him how to use his talent

injuries are he s bad side,but we are out of coppa and europe so i m hope that he could play one good game(or half)for the week
better than mauri,three time
about duels,dont expect from him defending dutys and dirty jobs(we have a lot of players for that),just use he s skills,hope that reja will know how do do that

what a useless player. It would be a shame to keep him on a payroll. He showed promise but that is it, I sincerely doubt he will ever amount to anything.

You know what, I don't have anything personal against him, but it would be really frustrating to see him miss out the whole season in Serie A (he played 270 minutes total this season in the league) because of injuries and then play in the Cup of Nations and the World Cup. I don't want him to miss the World Cup because it's a chance of a lifetime but if he comes back injured then we should rescind his contract as soon as earthly possible.

i also like him,i dont know but maybe that we was very poor with technicly skilful players in middle in the last years(meghni is better with ball than everyone in our team),but i m with sile in this one(playing 270 min during all season and than you re ready for african cup).
after that again you re not ready......waiting for the WC( )

Feel sad for him since he doesn't get to play alot of football at all. It's also bad for us since it will be harder to sell him now, I guess this guy is now the new Manfredini.

I can't say I'm surprised by this news but it is such a shame that the one chance for him is now gone. I do wonder if he would have played much in the WC anyway considering how little game time he has had all season. If he could only get over all these injuries, maybe then we would see something of what made him so promising. A glass ghost he remains.

I remember i argued with many people a while ago that Mourad is a great player. Just sell that fragile guy+matuzalem+manfreass and maki to Wisla for 1 million euros and its a done deal.

I think I would have been even more dissapointed if he was fit and played in the WC considering how frequently he misses games and trainings at Lazio. When does his contract end with us?

Bad news. I think that he is one of Algeria best and playing in the WC would only increase his price and interest for other clubs. Now we are stuck with him

He is unhappy with the regime here anyway so I don't expect him to be kept if any offer comes around.

He wouldnt have lasted more than 45 minutes in the WC when considering his fragile nature...

Terrible news for Meghni and Algeria. And also Lazio. The WC is a once in a lifetime type of opportunity. Hope he recovers fast but we all know that's unlikely, and when he does he will sadly be out soon after.

When is his contract with us over?
Meghni might talented but useless due to frequent injuries...a bit like Matuzalem (but he , at least, plays good and is helpful when he is fielded).

I think Meghni's contract expires in 2012. So 2 more years to go.....

sorry for him but.....better now than in the begining of season.

I have given up on him....so yes if hes not in the cinema, in the supermarket, at the theatre then he should be injured or in the hospital.
