| i think that ledesma and pandev are our most valuable players. We have to realise that we are a team that isnt in europe and the players want to high the level. Pandev is giving us is best years and remember how difficult was for him to enter in the team at the first years. i suppose they can play another year but i prefer to sell them this year for a sum of 30 or 20 millions than 5 millions next year, i dont want another bherami case!. | |

Well, Pandev is not really on his way out if we listen to what the president and what the player say. The case with Ledesma is totally different as he has, as far as media has reported, threatened to use the fuckin articulo 17 if he doesnt reach the agreement he wants. To be honest I think it is Ledesmas agent who is the real problem here as he is the one commenting everything concerning the player and his contract, and what he claims is that some "big clubs" are after his player and that he therefore should be paid more if he is really wanted at Lazio. In theory I understand where Ledesma is comming from as he is a regular, a very important figure in our squad and for our game and should be paid as much as the other "stars" are given. On the other hand I think the agent and the player should shut up,let his play show how much he is worth and I think even a stupid person like Lotito would understand how much he should pay him to make him stay. If he really is to leave next summer for basically nothing, then we have to sign a substitute for Ledesma quickly (the best one I can think of now is Appiah) and find a club that wants him and is ready to pay big money to capture him (to be honest, I am having a hard time seeing a big club paying that much since Ledesma needs to become a lot more consistent before anyone can consider him a "big" player...). | |
