I'm happy that we sign Matuzalem, but I am a bit worried about the future amounts we fix...until now we have 15 millions to pay for Zarate and now another 8 to pay for Matuzalem...that's 23 millions...we have to make sure that if we want to keep them Pandev and Ledesma will not leave free-agents next years, otherwise it will be very difficult to get this kind of money...
I would have been even more happy if we would have agreed a 5-6 million euro fee payable in 2-3 years for Matuzalem...but I guess that was not possible.

I am more worried about his attitude more than his football skills.. there's no doubt, he's a top class midfielder, but he used FIFA art 17 before, just like Behrami did to us earlier this season..

And he doesn't come cheap too, 8 million euro?

I have read he is only coming on a one year loan deal...how true is that? If we have the choice to sign him through an option after that I would say yes to this deal..if it is only a loan, i would say no...

Too much for a player who (1st) prone to injuries (he hasn't been playing for Zaragoza), (2nd) questionable loyalty, I know there's such thing as loyalty these days, but I just don't want another Behrami, if you know what I mean

off topic but if only we could get INA Assitalia back on board as well....i thought their president was a laziale, but never knew much about that. they used to sponsor merda but switched sides, guess they worked out what a real club is

I'm not happy with this transfer. It is again a player on loan!!!! Lotito is crazy and everybody knows that he won't give 18 million or how many is it for Zarate and 8 million for Matuzalem. At the end of next year Ledesma and Pandev will be gone and there will no be any Zarate or Matuzalem....

well if Zarate and Matuzalem prove to be the players we need there will not be any other way for Lotito.. plus I think that in Z's contract was said that we can pay the whole sum in 3 times and the last payment was due to 2010 or 2011 and it was around 9 mil

we could Ronaldinho instead of zarate & matuzalem!!

Matuzalem is a very good and solid midfielder.. he will add creativity in the middle along side Ledesma.. I have a feeling that he was brought in to pave way for Ledesma's exit..

Zarate at least have the future in front of him...Matuzalem has not been oustanding in any club he has played for, and as I have understood he has a tendency to get injured and also he doesnt seem to be a player with that much heart considering how many clubs he has been to...he is not that young either...Everything is a bit of a mess since we dont really know what formation Mister will prefer to use...

Lotito is trying to put pressure on River Plate, I think he wants to sign Fernandez, as a back up he has Matuzalem.
I'd prefer the argentinian.

fernandez is expected to get his passport soon and will arrive as a eu player. they say he will really get it and its not like with carrizo

No , as far as I know Matuzalem is going to use the vacant non EU spot. Thats why we must wait for his Italian pass.....

Ledesma's passport has nothing to do with it since the non-EU players rule concerns only newly signed players from abroad. And yes, the second non-EU place will be taken by Matuzalem if we sign him.

A one year loan for €2M .. is Lotito more crazy than usual? .. to buy him next summer would cost €15M-€16M .. if this accurate .. we should back out of this deal instantly
