Guys, this year we build a great squad...
Carizzo, Radu, Rozenhal, Zarate, Matuzalem + the new youngsters Kozak and Lichtsteiner
I think Lotito really took revenge for last summer's missed mercato! Well done, Claudio! Well done! Yes but Zarate and Matuzalem are on loan, so if they play as stars, we won't get any money for them. And believe me, Lotito won't give 19 million for Zarate or 10 million for Matuzalem next year.

he had no9 on his shirt, are u shure he is a medfirlder ?? i think he is attacking midfielder, but shirt number hasnt anything to do with which position you play, remember Mihajlovic playing with number 11 He can play defending and attacking midfielder. In My opinion Rossi wil play Ledesma defending and Matuzalem attacking, instead of Mauri ofcourse. Hm it's acually quite difficult, if we play 3-4-3 carrizo de silvestri-cribari-kolarov Dado-Ledesma Foggia Matuzalem Pandev Zarate Rocchi Mauri, Siviglia, Radu, Lichtsteiner... all that guys on the bank. I hope there will not be much tensions inside.

| We will never play de silvestri-cribari-kolarov in the back... 3-4-3 means that the 3 defenders are central defenders (Rozenhal, Cribari, Radu or Siviglia) and that 2 out of the 4 midfielders are wingers (Kolarov on the left and De Silvestri/Lichtsteiner on the right). In the middle Dabo and Ledesma and in attack either Matuzalem/Foggia - Rocchi, Pandev/Zarate or Rocchi, Pandev, and Zarate with Matuzalem instead of Dabo in the center. Plus we have Mauri and Foggia in case Matuzalem gets injured. I think Meghni and Del Nero will not get too much playing time next season. | |

| Yes Rossi will use 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 tactics in the upcoming season, however he said that the team should still could playing with his basic formation 4-3-1-2 but De Silvestri and Kolarov will not and can not play in the back three if we use 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formation... so the starter might be : 3-4-3: Carrizo Rozehnal/Moti Cribari Siviglia/Radu De Silvestri Ledesma Matuzalem/Dabo Kolarov Rocchi Pandev Zarate 3-5-2: Carrizo Rozehnal Cribari Siviglia De Silvestri Ledesma Matuzalem/Dabo Kolarov Foggia/Mauri Pandev Zarate/Rocchi So many quality midfielders will make Rossi has a "dream of every coach" headache, who will he choose? Foggia, Dabo, Matuzalem or Fernandez(if he comes)?? or how about Meghni and Mauri? Use 5 midfielders and 2 strikers so one of Rocchi, Zarate and Pandev won't play or just use 4 in the midfield in order to play with the big three upfront and sacrificing one of Dabo, Matuzalem, Fernandez etc for further information you can look here http://www.lazialita.com/VisualizzaSezione.asp?IdArticolo=352I wish we have this kind of players when we played in CL... they will be very useful for the rotation system... but what the heck, better late than never.. we shouldn't live in the past.. we live for today and tomorrow.. I bet that Serie A will be shining again.. Mourinho and Ronaldinho effect, the resurrection of Fiorentina, Napoli and Lazio (I'm crossing my finger) will make Calcio at least in line with La Liga | |

I hope Rossi won't use this formation because in that case we play with 5! defenders. If De Silvestri and Kolarov play on the midfield, they will be more defending than attacking I fear.

| What I was earlier talking about was having a playe on loan, and then such a high buy-out, when you could sign a player from the same team with quite similar position for a lower sum (and aimar is not that bad, honestly...he has potential to become a good player again...) ...matuzalem might be a good player and so on (even though I dont seem to see him as having the quality that some of you others do...hope i am wrong...) but is it worth it if it is a one-year thing? Too expensive to be bought out by Lotito, even if he preforms very well...I hope for the best out of this deal...
we will see, but there is a very delightful choice Mister will be making concerning how much he has to choose from in the squad...just compare to last year...

You think? Usually Kolarov is very attacking minded even as a classic fullback in 4-4-2, what makes you think he will defend too much in 3-5-2? And De Silvestri loves to make attacking runs, too. I am not really a fan of 3-5-2 but we do have the wingbacks for it, IMO. I wouldn't mind a flat 4-4-2 but with the potential of a star trident upfront, we will probably see it only if one of the forwards gets injured, so better not to hope for that. :)

| i think matuzalem is a good choice, but i dont like the one-year-loandeals that lotito has. players disaper as fast as the got to the club. jimenez, bianchi. these are players with talent but they didnīt impress at lazio. i know jimenez is kind of a different story, but in my opinion he didnīt impress when he was playing. my point is that we loan players with potential, but if they fail under the one season they have with lazio, they are out. one season is not always enough to show you are worth the money. when coming to a new club you must have the time to adjust and learn about the teams standards!
matuzalem is 15 m/euro if lotito wants to buy him?...that amount of money sound unlike lotito, but i really hope that he loans a player with the intrerest to buy him later. we have to secure the long-term players, not depend on loaned players. if we do it like this every year we wont have the stability in the squadra as we need! |
