I am currently indulging in a hungover cramming session.

Housemate thought it would be quite humourous to try and get me drunk 36 hours before my exams. Method employed was buying me doubles instead of singles. Consequences? Didn't get too drunk, but stinking hangover.

Hey everyone.... how are you all?

Hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you, your families and our beloved Lazio a very happy and prosperous Happy New Year in 2009!!!!

I haven't been on for a while because im still on holiday (since around 22nd November) in SOFIA, BULGARIA staying with family here and visiting and going out all the time having a real good time - its only the 2nd time I've been back home since my family and I left in 1994 so its really incredible for me.... but unfortunately I only have a few more days left, then back to little NZ on the other side of the world.... even though its really hot summer there now and 0 degree temperatures in Sofia.... I want to stay....

When I get back to Auckland I will write a few short posts and put up photos (if I am not too lazy ) of my time here. Was in Katarini, Greece for a few days for New Years with my auntie, uncle and cousin and had a good time there and also did some sightseeing around northern Greece.

Anyway talk again soon and all the best for the new year 2009! :)

Hope you will enjoy the rest of your vacation bobbi!!! nothing is comparable to a visit back home! i've been working in the uae for 7 months now, and i've been to lebanon 7 times!! and every time i feel the excitement and joy of walking in the streets of Beirut and meeting old colleagues and friends! and now ofcourse the beautiful fiance!

Super Ram, you really like cold ? Or just playing here. We have - 30 in Toronto quite often. I still love to come out just for a lil nice walk. I find it strange because Beirut is warm place ?

i was in beirut a month ago, the temperature was 3 degrees.. ofcourse u might find that warm compared to your -30 anyways, i really enjoy the cold weather, especially when u feel the cold air on your face with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate in your hand..

I just will tell you that in this momento im going to a meeting in other building of my university, 4 blocks from here and the temperature is 34° outside

See the other two days -25 - 30 , today -2 hahaha. Crazy !

very strange weather in Ireland.

travelled from my college house to my home house. it took me 5 and a half hours on public transport. Blue skies and sunshine as I left college, snow when I got home.

I mean if you have gone for another 2.5 hours extra, that would be enough time to get to Olimpico from Toronto hehe.

Only 175 miles (280km).

It can take up to 7 hours depending on traffic and bus/train link-ups. 5 and a half hours would be the quickest I do it in.

I tend to only travel on holidays now, every 6/7 weeks or so although I used to do it every fortnight last year when my mother was ill.

I know some people who do it every week

yep celsius. Record temp in my city, Adelaide, for 70 years.

Poor bastards also at the Australian Open in melbourne. Novak Djokovic couldn't take the heat and retired. Can't blame him, this is like the opposite of Balkan weather.
