Foggia came on in the 2nd half for Mauri. Zarate stayed on the bench.

Manfredini came on, I think for Meghni and Cribari came on for Siviglia.

Meghni says he isn't very worried about the injury, he thinks he'll most likely will be availible for the game against Cagliari.

Rossi is giving makinwa all the chances he can to gain some confidence. I predict, just as Caxi, that we will see Zarate in the opening game against Cagliari. Makinwa has been given plenty of chances now, he would have been the most obvious striker if we play with one top striker while Rocchi is gone, but he has failed to impress and next week he should field a forward line excluding Makinwa and introducing Zarate. My biggest fear is not that Makinwa will play and not Zarate but rather that Foggia will not be considered starting material...

yes, my fear is actually Pandev and Zarate behind Inzaghi or Mendicino but I think, Foggia and Zarate will definitely start but could Makinwa get the nod over Pandev? Pandev has played 2 games in quick succession, could he be saved for the Samp game?

I think Pandev will be definitely starter , as well as Mauri. Thus someone from Zarate, Foggia will be on the bench....
