come on caxi, ledesma and mauri were absent yesterday.

All ledesma did was foul players around, he didnt even see much of the ball.


if you guys cvant see that ledesma is playing nowhere near his top since litoto ditched him then something is going on.


Rossi is an idiot for not forthseeing ledesma card, i think every laziali in the world saqw it comming.

Ledesma is an idiot for ruining the most importnat game of the season.



Could have even been a straight red, he walked off liek he didnt care.

Interesting how different things can be seen.
I think he did manage a pass or two, but all in all he did not manage to have a secure passing game where we managed to keep the ball under control and attack with a bit of strategy and calmity.
The set pieces was more a lack of concentration from merda takers, ledesma was put as the first defending player and if a ball comes his way he should get it away. Any player could do that.
I am ready to agree that Ledesma probably is our best midfielder overall, but that is only because the rest of them dont have anything else than what they are "specialised" in. The thing is that his job is to be the creator, the link between the back line and the attacking players, as a defender of the back line we have employed Brocchi and Dabo. And both of them do that dirty work better than ledesma. I am not really sure why Mauri was there yesterday, as it was obvious we were not there to keep our game pretty high up the field but rathet going for counters.

No matter what, he showed an enormous stupidity with his behaviour last night and the red card could have been given earlier. weird to see that Rossi did not act. Oh sorry, he has nothing else to throw in on that position.

And that is our largest problem. When Ledesma feels like being good he is top class giving us a tremendous depth in passing and creativity that really helps us out. At times he plays like sent from above. But this happens more and more seldom and given the fact that our attacking game starts from him, we get stuck with a pandev/zarate one man show when ledesma doesnt step up, a game plan that doesnt last.

It will be interesting to see what Rossi will come up with for next game, but I would think a midfield consisting of both Dabo and Brocchi. In January we need to think of something because Ledesma just do not seem to want to play with us.Yet he is captain...maybe there is something else wrong? At least we need someone to compete with him for real. No bloody Meghni-Matuzalem-Mauri trap.

All I can say is that at times am very unhappy the way Lazio is supported.
Many tend to critizes whereas not many tend to support.
Game after game players performances are bashed and people are against rossi and lotito (asking fopr changes).
All I will say we did lose but I was very proud of our perfromance.
Positives from the game: carizzo and the defence, meghni (the guy did very well, but not so good in the siena game) and rocchi and zarate
Negatives; pandev and mauri

Ledesma did well defensively that is it...maybe Rossi should consider bringing back Muta

Ledesma was having a good game. Anybody who says otherwise is a victim of bias. But he was going to get sent off, I knew it since the 1st 5 minutes of the game.

Tridente is working ok but we need Foggia in the team. Foggia behind 2 forwards just excels.

I agree...Ledesma could easily get a higher rating or even he could be one of our best player on the pitch if he didn't sent off and we won the game.. i'd say he was the MOM in the first half and the worst lazio player in the second half (well. he's only playing less than the half of 2nd half anyway..)

With all do respect Erme... I don't think anyone here has stopped believing that we are the better team and the first squad of Rome! At least i haven't! FORZA LAZIO PER SEMPRE!

I agree about Ledesma.. but the problem is i don't see any suitable sub. he plays a very particular role in our games, i even read once that Rossi uses him as a filter player (whatever that means)... neither Dabo nor Brocchi can replace him.. mybe Firmani, but he's never fit to play..

I haven't been able to post in the last four or five days.. just to share my feelings with.. i was so excited about the game.. nervous.. anxious.. but that was all before the starting whistle.. I like delio rossi a lot.. but honestly, i was frustrated when i saw that Mauri was on the pitch and Foggia on the bench.. why do we always have to accept the fact that Mauri should be a starter while all he does is running uselssly, and in the same time we have the ambitious excited speedy gonzales Foggia sitting on the bench..

when Rossi decided to start substituting, i felt that our salvation is getting closer, but i was shocked to see Meghni coming in! I mean what the heck was Rossi doing!! did he forget Foggia or what!

about the trident... we should admit it's not working.. it's slow and ineffective! IMO, humbly, i think Zarate and either Rocchi or Pandev should start, with foggia behind them..
Zarate should concentrate more on scoring rather than picking the ball from the midfield.. he should be acting near the goal not in the midfield..

anyways, it was a game to forget... the only interesting thing that night was the scene of the curva nord.. I can only dream of going there sometime.. I'll be screaming my lungs out.. and what the hell.. if it is for Lazio.. i will give it all..
