Veron could be back?

Veron's agent, Eugenio Ascari told Teleradiostereo Veron could be back to Lazio if they call him.
"Veron is continue to playing top level. Many people prefer Veron to Riquleme now.
There were a lot of Brazalian squads interested in him.
But he always snubbed the offers because he wanted to remain Argentina.
The solo offer that could wave his mind is Lazio's offer.
If the offer is arrived, Veron would think about it a lot.
Then how much can be his worth? I don't think there are many problems.
If Veron decided to leave Estudiantes, there would be not any problems.

it says he has a dual citizenship. It's a common thing for a player to ask for a citizenship based on his prolonged stay in a certain country, I believe we could sign him as an Italian player if we really wanted to get him.

I don't even remember what the verdict was after the passport scandal, but I hope he does have dual citizenship, it would be great to have him back!

Im not sure Veron has EU passport. Remember the scandal with his fake passport?

I'm guessing he does, he spent 7 years in total in Italy, that's surely enough to get citizenship, even if you do try and fake it once or twice

he pretty much says the same thing in both articles, they've just twisted it to make 2 contrasting reports.

Seems like if we want him, he'll come. The issue is Lotito doesn't seem to care.

For me Sebastian is part of lazio heritage and i am ready to welcome him back but only under certain rules and circumstances.

I have a suggestion.

1. You may only be 100% better then Ledesma (no more then 100%).
2. Since you are only allowed to look 200% better then Ledesma you have to wear a helmet on the field.
3. You have to be our captain.
4. You have to slow your game down about 200% so that the rest of the team can keep up.

I think that he could fit in to our midfield and act as our general! which we need since ledesma has his head in a new contract rather than playing quality football.

I also don't think he is are answer either! Lazio need to buy young talents to feed off of the positive energy Veron would bring. That is the key to our success!

Also think of how Zarate would react to having an Argentine vet in our midfield...

Veron would mean a return to 4-4-2.

The most important aspect of a potential deal would be getting that Argentine revolution back. Ledesma would stay and we could also have Dubarbier in there with Zarate and Carrizo also in the team.

If we can nab the likes of Veron, Elano, Dubarbier, we could go very far but we need Veron to provide the impetus.

someone said that Veron gets right now under a mil so I don't see a problem for Lotito to offer something in the likes of 700- 800k per year having in mind that we are fighting for EU spot it will be good for Seba to get some class football, plus any of our midfielders can't reach 80% of Veron's capability...and that's if he is having a bad day!
