| How many tickets have been sold for the Juve game? I am a big Lazio fan, managed to get to 3 home games last year, I am coming over from the Uk for my first game this season and was hoping that there will be a great atmosphere at the match. | |

| Im not so optimistic for this game if we play the normal 4-3-3 formation. Sissoko alone can over-run our midfield, let alone facing their quality midfield, Camoranesi, Nedved and Marchisio. If we lose our midfield battle they will kill us, Amauri and Del Piero both posses skills and finishing and we cant really do any fauls outside the box. We need to bring the ball forward to our attackers since they are our best players and we need to put a fight in midfield in order to be capable to do it. A three man midfield would be suicidal against Juve and knowing their(our midfield's) poor concistancy we could be on for a nightmare. | |

| actually we have plenty to lose, a loss will see us almost certainly fall 6 points off the CL places and even Riomma would go above us on head-to-head.
I think we can win though, our defence will have to have a solid game, no mistakes by Diakite and Rozehnal, no miscommunication with Carrizo. Radu will need to improve also, Camoranesi is no mug.
our last couple of games with Juve have been "shootouts" to an extent, I think this will be similar except we have more power this time and our midfield is also in better shape.
I think we need to expose them out wide because Mellberg and Molinaro are by far the weak points to this side. Maybe a smart move to use Foggia and Zarate is wider areas? | |

I don't like thinking about other matches but yeah merda go on to play Torino away and Torino is bloody awful. Merda beat Samp yesterday so yes we have to do our best to stay above the bastards. | |

| Juve will be another hard game, specially since we have a very hard time against the "big" teams since Rossi came to us. No matter what form we are in, or what players we play, we have adopted some kind of habit to lose to Juve, Inter and Milan. I hope that this sunday will be different, but I highly doubt it. We have a few weak points that I fear Juve will exploit. To stand a chance I think Rossi must be very careful in picking his players and try to find the correct ingredients for a defence. Last year DP had a brilliant game only thanks to our poor defending, and to me the defence this year is not a lot better...
Our central defenders will have an extremely tough time against Juve's attackers and midfielders. We looked liked a bunch of amateurs against a crappy Reggina, and one week later we will face one of the most "in form" striking partners around. How will our slow defenders cope with DP and Amauri? We have to hope for an outstanding game for the ones picked for this game. And not only do we have a problem in the central department, but we do also lack a bit on the wings as radu seemed to be out of shape in the last game and De Silvestri has obviously not regained the confidence that he needs to be brilliant at the back.
Our midfield will have a hard time against the Juve midfield. Sissoko, Camoranesi and Nedved (not sure who their fourth player will be) are strong physically, and they are all good on the ball. If we are to field Meghni again I think the game is lost right from the start as he will stand no chance against camoranesi. The Juve midfield will add on to their strikers, and therefore we need to either play with four midfielders (which I highly doubt after seeing us score three last week) or put in Mauri instead of Meghni. In all honesty, I would like to see us play with both Brocchi and Dabo as DMs, and give Ledesma a little bit more of an offensive role. With them two covering the flanks, and Ledesma covering in the middle we could maybe be able to keep the juve midfield a little bit less of a chance to penetrate us, but also give Ledesma the freedom to launch attacks without having to constantly worry about covering the defence.
There are, however, ways we could beat Juve. Their defence is not very strong, and we should be able to use the fact that Chiellini has been absent and is making his return. Their left and right back, no matter who they play, are their weakest points and guys like Goran, Zarate (and foggia) could create danger by challenging them. With a Rocchi in the mood for a game we also have a striker that can tap in a ball or two. Our offensive line is both in form and a big threat to anu opposition and with a Buffon that should be far away from his best we can hope for a good game offensively.
As I said earlier, I think this will be a very tough game for us. But we do play at home, we have a strong tridente and we have had games this season that would have given us a fair chance against any team in the league. With a good game for the defenders and Carrizo, and a bit of luck, we could walk away with at least one point...
Forza Ragazzi! Make us proud! | |

| I'd be in favour of Diakite starting and marking Amauri. No one else in our defence can match him physically and I reckon this will turn into a battle of width.
Personally, a threeman midfield is what I'd opt for but it HAS to be Mauri-Ledesma-Brocchi. Experience s pivotal, especially if Marchisio is given the nod.
Should be goals, should be close and Maurito is absolutely key. | |

| I don't consider tridente will work for this match. You are right with your concerns about our midfield , Cash. If we go and compare Camoranesi , Nedved and Sissoko with our players , for me only Dabo and Ledesma(if they are in the mood) could compete at 100% with them. But lets see what formation Rossi will choose and how the match will develop , don't want to give up the battle. We have our chances , I believe in Mauro , Rocchi and Pandev , I am just afraid if they are isolated as we saw that in previous games this season. It is pointless to discuss the defence , they are capable of anything to make great performance or blunders as the second goal we have conceded last Sunday against Reggina for example. Everything will be decided in attack and midfield. Even if we concede 1 or 2 goals , I believe , if Mauro creates chances , pass the ball without a trace of selfishness and we materialize them , we definitely have a great chance. But for that we need , strong and precise midfield and highly concentrated defence. I think our goalie will be determined to make the difference this time , and hopefully he will. So , let the fortune be with us and Lazio to show cleverness , smart moves and our rusty ,,NoN Mollare Mai" against the big teams. | |

just put a defender on the post not covered by JPC, it will confuse Del Piero | |

| Against Juve I would change the formation completely just for this game.
--------------Carizzo---------------
----Licht---Criba--Rozhen--Radu-
-----Dabo--Ledesma--Brocchi----
-Foggia--------------------Zarate-
----------Pandev/Rocchi----------
Attacking Juve from the wings is the only change we've got in this game.. Molinaro and Mellberg will be cought alot of times by Foggia and Zarate.. Chiellini will need to cover alot for them leaving room for Pandev or Rocchi to finish the created chances. Dabo ledesma and brocchi will do all the running and fighting against their hard working midfield trying to close them down and pass the ball to our wingers. | |

Yes, he will.. It's a bit sad that after a great game Lollo will sit on the bench again One option would be to use Lichty in midfield, move over Dabo to the left side instead of Meghni and have Lichty and Lorenzo to cover the right hand side. | |

| One (un)interesting statistical view on the game. They reported this on the pre-show of this weeks serie A (on telly), and they did not give information on what games they include, but they said that we have played juve 64 times, with 24 wins each and 16 draws...what games could this be based on? And apart from that, I would have never guessed that we were tied with juve looking over a period of 64 games... | |
