| For a change we managed to create a lot of scoring opportunities, alas Rocchi wasted most of them. Credits to him for the goal but if he was truly in form we would have ended the game in our favor in the first half already. Zarate is sensational, all over the place and his shots from free kicks are never more than 2 inches away. Positive performance by Radu, Dabo, Matuzalem and del Nero.
With Ledesma, Pandev, Kolarov and Foggia rested I firmly believe we will dispatch Sampdoria on Wednesday so all this crying and whining can finally come to an end.

| As I promised, I am not blaming Delio for tonight's loss as we all expected that the guys mentally would be thinking about Wednesday. Being the first Delio hater, I am gently asking all other rational people on this website, i.e.all other Delio haters, to stay calm and not blame anyone for tonight's loss. But.......FUCK I'M GONNA SLAG OFF DELIO IF WE LOSE ON WEDNESDAY, AND FUCK IF ANY OF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAY ANYTHING. But we wait for Wednesday. Until then, FORZA LAZIO!!!! | |

| After tonights game I think it's pretty clear who is our most important player and has been so for the last two years. When Ledesma is missing our midfield falls apart. I don't say this disrespecting for Brocchi, Matuzalem or Dabo - but Ledesma is fouriclasse. If he leaves this summer we have a huge problem. Today we missed him ridiculously much.
I agree with you that Rossi should have given some youngsters a chance. I respect him for saying the campionato primevara is a totally different thing, but if now's not the time, when is? Del Nero is a professional that always does what he can, but I simply cannot understand why a player like Mancini isn't even in the discussion.
Nice to see Rocchi's goal-celebration and Brocchi's temper. Do not misunderstand me - the red card was unnecessary - but it's nice to see that he cares. Also posetive to see De Silvestri giving 100 % every time when he get's the chance.
Unfortunately we didn't have the power and quality to respond when they tied, 1-1. It's understandable with the final coming up, but we have to improve. Sampdoria is not an easy opponent.

| Exactly Weni. If we won the last 3 games and lost the Coppa, people would still complain so I'm not too disheartened.
My thoughts, emotions and whatever else hinge on Wednesday night and if we fail to achieve the goal, suddenly everything changes.
I understand no giving the Primavera guys a chance too actually. Rossi said he wanted to test the condition of his players tonight. With injury worries and all sorts, one would have to think tonight's team will either start on Wednesday or sit on the bench.

| I was surprised when I first saw that starting 11. For me this was Delio team for the coppa and he just wanted to see if they can handle. To be honest we played equal and the only reason for the goals is the bloody defense. Please see Sivigla reaction on the first goal. He basically turn away from the ball. I won't comment the rest of the game I just want to say that I agree Olimpico shouldn't be so easy to won. I mean I was expecting only 100 attendance but the curva was more supportive then ever. I don't know why but it didn't hurt me so much, maybe because I know that the season is probably over and there is only one game left.
The big question is: DO we have to give up the rest of the games, is that professional when we have no europe competition this season, are we so fragile??? If we are I don't want to see Lazio is Uefa. What for.....to win one uefa game and lose the next three in seria a. If we don't have quality to offer then fuck it. Sorry but thats the way I am, I'll fight till bleeds but never give up. Its dignity in question.
Btw happy birthday Presidente, I hope you like the present that you made

| They were, they rested Cassano, and when they scored in the first minute against mighty Reggina and then Reggina had a player sent off it was only a matter of trashing them.
Why are people panicking I don't get it

| All should relax. We have had large problems with our game this season, and when the most important and influential player is out, this is the way things would go. Also, we have the final, and udinese is in great shape.
We need to evaluate this season after Wednesday...no need to panick now...

| it was a VERY predictable game with a VERY predictable score, but it doesnt take away the HUGE pressure for Wednesday ... Lazio MUST win on Wednesday or we've got another miserable season... anyway if you look positive, if we win... GREAT ! and if we lose ... some HEADS will roll of the Spanish steps. | |
