Lotito had made it club policy to freeze both players out of the side, sparking outrage across Italy.

Pressed on the matter further, Lotito was asked if that meant Pandev and Ledesma were available for selection again.

“Of course, just like the other 33 players at Lazio are,” he concluded.

It might be, but I truly hope not. We could really need Ledesma now. As much as people are praising Baronio's improvments he's still just an ok back-up for me. We could also use Pandev up front, but I feel we are more covered in that position now with Rocchi recovering.

If Pandev and Ledesma are reintegrated then we instantly become a top 5 team rather than a top 10.

I would'nt go that far, but I belive we will fail to qualify to europe next year unless we improve our current squad.

If they are reintegrated (which I think is a joke) do you think that they will play on the same level. 2 months without a game, zero training with the current team, god knows how fans will react at them and what their motivation will be like.

I suspect it might be a joke myself, but we'll see.

I think it's obvious they'll suffer from not playing this season, but given time to get back into the game I think Ledesma can be crucial for us this season.

Lotito's recent comments are no different to how they were previously. It's not even a joke.

His forgiveness is just his way of saying that the decision to freeze them out is not personally motivated. The second comment just makes it clear yet again that there is a 35 man squad, people need to be left out and Pandev and Ledesma just happen to be technical exclusions.

That's the president of SS Lazio, making a statement like that in tv. What a retard...

We're not in a situation where we can be sarcastic about why two of our top 5 players are frozen out of the squad, for personal reason.

SS Lazio, the worlds biggest club run by an amateur....

I have to disagree at the part of the personal reasons - it's normal to freeze out of the squad players that will be gone in couple of months, even if they are some of the top players IMO

Ha, did you? I honestly think with Ledesma we can compete with most teams, he will help the defense again. Pandev will always be useful espescially sice Cruz, Rocchi and Zarate have all been injured this season.

Good to see Ledesma is called up for the Ravenna game but I wouldn't get too excited. Stendardo is once again called up for a friendly match (last time vs Zaragoza), and even though he did very well in that match, he hasn't once been called up for a Serie A match I don't think so I don't know what to expect from this. But I would definitely like to see Ledesma given a game yo see how he plays, what his attitude's like, etc.

agree,also it will be interesting to see how the other players accept him

If Ledesma is negotiating his place back in the team he'd be the smarter of both him and Pandev... only playing until the winter market will give him the chance to move

I fear that Ledesma has just been called up and played in the friendly against Ravenna for the same reason. But at least we'll see if things did really change in about a week time. At the new start Lazio will play 7 matches in 20 days: we do need people in the midfield... and not only there.

It would be good to see Ledesma playing good, back in the team and doing well. We should hope for that atleast. Lets see whats to happen....
