| Let's see what Balla has done with Lazio and if we are capable of keeping a good trend in our performance. | |

| I don't think people understand the mess we are in for this game.
Siviglia, Diakite', Cribari all injured and might miss. Lichtsteiner also. This means Radu and Scaloni could both start, out of position, and maybe even a forced recall for Stendardo.
Not only that but our 2 mediani, Dabo and Brocchi are also under injury clouds.
I'm pretty worried about this game. We might have to do what Riomma did against Genoa and throw Canini into the matchsquad if he somehow signs in time. Ridiculous.

La Lazio Siamo Noi is labelling it an emergency, and on another Lazio forum, there is talk of guys like Stendardo playing. Firmani too, but that would only make me smile. I don't think we'll know how serious it all is until tomorrow.

I don't think we'll know how serious it all is until tomorrow. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed that the doc can patch at least one of the standard defenders, otherwise we really are in a middle of a shitstorm. Radu can not and should not play CB at any cost. Bring back Stendardo if necessary for the aerial battles and throw in Miranda/Canini/that third guy and let's try and score more than we concede. Zarate should be fresh, Cruz should be fit, we again saw some of Meghni's magic, Dabo should be fit, Matuzalem is good to go, Inzaghi is good to go... We shouldn't let an injury crisis hinder our chances of taking the three points. After all if anything we have too many players.

| No, this one wont be easy. They are a difficult team to play against, they are dogged, they always fight and make things difficult. If we can get off to a good start then that will help significantly I feel. Still, our quality should shine through and that is important as we face Juve after this and then a difficult trip to Catania after that. | |

| Our last game against Chievo was a horror show, in fact, we've had many horror shows against Chievo.
This is effectively a derby nowadays due to our loyalty to Hellas and a desire within some Riomanisti to look at Chievo as a second team. Not only that but we have had some crazy encounters in the past 10 years.
The motivation should be there and hopefully we will have a squad that can complete the job.

| Chievo games are usually hard for us, and I believe in something similar this game.
Just copied som old results, interesting to see how we always have great difficulty against the yellow shirts...

| A tricky match. I don't like Chievo and I don't like playing them. Its always tough and unpredictable against them so I assume the same this time round. According to reports, it seems several of our defenders will be out (Diakite, Cribari, Siviglia, and maybe even Lichtsteiner), which will not help at all. Hopefully some of them recover in time.

| Traditions are there to be broken, Chievo can't expect for their good run to last forever.
Objectively, we are stronger than ever (given we recover from injuries in time) and Chievo are the same as they've always been-mid table team with ambition related more to performance of others than to their own accomplishments.
Can't wait for this game, this will be a true test of our capabilities!!!

| Probable formation : 4-3-1-2
Muslera, Lichtsteiner, Cribari, Radu, Kolarov; Dabo, Baronio, Mauri; Matuzalem; Cruz, Zārate. Bench.: Bizzarri, Diakitč, Scaloni, Meghni, Eliseu, Foggia, Rocchi. All. Ballardini.
So nice to see Cribari recovered, terrible to see Radu as CB (if you watched the elfsborg game away), Dabo in for injured Brocchi, and that about covers it. Not bad.

| I really wanted to see Foggia from the start but that again look very unlikely - maybe Ballardini has something up his sleeve. Radu didn't have a good game against Elfsborg but maybe he just needs time? Good to see Cribari back. FORZA LAZIO!!!!! | |

| I'm not too surprised at Foggia's absence from the starting XI. We are playing an extremely tricky away tie, Ballardini is looking for a really stable formation because Chievo will come at us and pressure us, so I think he is looking to throw on Foggia later on with Rocchi to spice things up when they begin to tire.
Very smart plan I believe.
