I really wouldn't worry about Foggia not playing yesterday guys. I gave my reasons why he wasn't to start in this thread before the match and it's only due to Criba's red card that he wasn't brought on. It would be suicide to play Foggia in a 10-man team when you are trying to protect a lead. Foggia will feature heavily this season, just wait.

If you remember during the game, the camera was at times pointing to the section where the laziali were, there looked to be some trouble. Reason?
They did not allow the "Gabbo" banner to be brought in the stadium.

Baronio is a joke, with him we have no creativity at all. I hope Ledesma will play for us this season, or we are screwed.

Nice to see Cruz score, even better he won the game for us. But in game, he doesnt add very much. The first goal was a cheat, the second is all Zarate's...

A strong win away to a team that always creates problems for us. Even stronger we turned the game around, and that we managed to hold on to the lead despite being one man down...

But. If this is the team and the game that we will put on display this year we should be prepared for a very tough season. I dont even want to imagine what a few injuries and EL can do to the team...

The penalty may have been a cheat, but see how calmly he slotted it. Since Oddo left we haven't had a penalty taker like that. And you'll never see Cruz dribble 2 players and then send a daisy-cutter in from the edge of the box, he was in the right place at the right time to tap in Zarate's effort. That's the whole point of the partnership, I don't see how people can be disappointed in him or say he doesn't add much. He adds a lot.

and honestly Baronio wasn't that bad. OK, he's no Ledesma, but his season so far hasn't been terrible. IMO the criticism towards him is unjustified. Especially when the likes of Radu and Cribari did their best to cost us the game and have barely come under fire.

In my opinion, Cruz is a useful addition since he can tap in goals, but us bringing him on as the only reinforcement in attack is a shame. He can score some goals, but he doesnt light up our future. Cruz wasnt the one player that I wanted to see added to our front line.

Baronio doesnt show anything during the game, only because we have won and he has been on the pitch doesnt make him an ok player. He is too slow and weak in defence, and his passes are far to inaccurate to help out in attack. Balla has no choice but to play him, but honestly, if I would have told you 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 years ago that Baronio would be a starter, wouldnt you have laughed?? This guy wasnt even good enough to be worth signing for teams like Chievo and Brescia - and now he is a starter in Lazio...come on...

Cribari and Radu were both smelling as yesterday. However, i feel that Radu has plenty of potential and that he could develop into a useful player. Already now he is useful as he can be a back-up both on the left side and in the middle. Cribari though, is just too much. For three years I have been waiting for a decent crntral defender.

what a challenge by Muslera in the 2nd half... and nice Zarate work on the 2nd goal. Very tough win but we will need to be on top next week! We gave Chievo too much room to operate and juventus will not miss chances like that! FORZA LAZIO! A good boosting win!

And Ledesma is no Xavi or Pirlo...

Baronio stepped up when he was needed, so far he's done ok, a memory of his flops still lingers in people's minds that's understandable but why don't we give this guy a fair chance. All I see is him making a great effort, what he may lack in creativity he makes up for with a fight.

And now that all people are so keen on praising Ledesma to high heaven, remember last season and the one before when he was branded "lazy", a "ghost", a "merc"...
