I'm wondering the same. I don't hope it's like Mutarelli,with a player sitting outside for 6 months.. because we need Ledesma!

Nice to hear that Ledesma will stay. I'm sure if Balla gives him a chance to play then he will sign a new contract.

Hopefully Ledesma will be re-instated. But realistically only if he signs a new deal (Clause included to allow him to leave if a big club makes an offer).

Canini now comes down to sum of the loan. Cellino seems willing to accept but just holding out for more cash.

The Canini deal has been on for some weeks now as he is consistently being left out of Cagliari squads.

We are 300,000 euro away from Canini...Cagliari have just rejected an offer from us...But we are 300,000 euro away from what they want...what that offer is has not been revealed..

That is the distance between us and a very good young,talented defender...

He didn't wait until the last minute; Canini has been in the pipeline for weeks.

Lotito has wanted a loan, Cellino a co-ownership and it looks like Claudio won the duel. The fact that Cagliari are not playing him show that the player must be unsettled and pushing a move to Lazio. Lotito probably knows this and is playing hardball.

Rever was probably just the back up while Claudio played chicken with Cellino. Now the Cagliari president just wants a fair price. Round 2 of chicken begins.

Given how Ballardini has deployed Zarate...I don't think there is a need for Quaresma anyway...

Although, maybe a change of scenary would do him good? In any case, looks like they want something else...most likely cash..

Who knows, maybe Quaresma could finally live up to his potential with us? A Loan deal would be perfect.
