| Maurito has a lot to learn. You are the star of the team, paid accordingly, if the club reckon you are underperforming, shut up and raise your game.
The fact all this has gone public suggests the quiet, in the dressing room method hasn't worked.

The fact all this has gone public suggests the quiet, in the dressing room method hasn't worked. No one can disagree with that comment.. Once again a lazio players agents do all the talking...Sergio Zarate should shut his mouth... Lazio have raised Zarate's stock...Yes he is a great talent...But he has had all the opportunities available to him...A breakout season last season...But where has he been this season?? I would prefer someone like a Floccari...goes about his business... Raise your game then you can get the tag of a star.... If we received a 40m bid from Arsenal and Zarate and his brother are still complaining i'd take it.. Plenty of players need to stop talking and start performing...

Mentioning our three potential talents in the media instead the lock-room or in the training ground is a wrong approach. What are we aiming for, to lose Koalrov, Diakite and Zarate for some fucktard that probably gonna leave any day now. *sorry to quote you, this is directed towards all like-minded people.

| i m worried that in the time when we need to bring someone here we have the problems between the players, and now problems between balla-zarate,if we need to choise i would choise without a doubt zarate, balla didnt do nothing for the half of the season, its not that only mauro have problem with him-we are in the way to losing foggia-diakite(and kolarov-but for his own reassons). we can maybe be frustraited sometimes with mauro-but in one thing we have agreement :zarate is promising player with the great talent, and balla do not promising nothing and dont have talent-so the choise is simple. about the players wich ones wants to play in lazio :mauri-baronio-inzaghi...-why the woud not like playing here,we are only team who gives the chance the players like them, and take it all together with balla in one side, they are not worth than foggia(to dont mention mauro)in another side. i like the idea of mudingay for a lot of reasons, except that he s better than baronio-firmani-mauri-dabo,he could play as a fighter and the last man in the middle who can keep the ball,so our game will looks faster and more stronger than with middle that we have now. mudi-matu-foggia with one more good player in middle will be good(also we will have brochi for replacement or starter in hard games),meghni who can be good when he s fit... bring then mudi back-except that he love to play here-we also love to had him back. | |

well, i mean, if we would be in top 5 of Serie A he can say whatever he wants...but considering our condition and his lack of involvement in the Ledesma / Pandev case) one of the most shameful events in our recent history: losing our best player for free because we refused to increase his salary from 450k per year to a bit more that what Inzaghi is gaining for warming up the bench...considering that I think that no, Balla has no right to accuse Zarate...it is only his fault...the poor performance of the team is only his fault....this is the same team with which Delio Rossi manage to win Coppa Italia and achieve a respectable position last year...Balla ruined us so far so the only think he can say to please me is that he resigns.

| Maurito has been below his standards (compared to last season) all this season, just as many other players. I think we should be careful not to lose him, but at the same time he needs to step it up. He is not having a good season, so he should shut up, work hard, pass the fucking ball and be happy that he is fielded game after game. We have seen how coud he can be when in form, but the real question is how good he actually is over a longer period and when the opponents get to know him and know how to mark him...
However, the comments from balla, and now from Zarate's brother, is showing how sad of a situation the team is in. Balla has no control, as few coaches could possibly have under these circumstances, and Zarate knows his potential and status and knows that he could be at a team performing a lot better than Lazio, meaning that he would have an easier time executing his skills and not being the only star of the team, and therefore also be regarded as an even greater player. Therefore, he can be cocky enough and actually react over a comment that is 100% true; Zarate is a good gifted player, but needs to mature and become a team member rather than the super-individualist he is. The one large problem we have, is that without Mauro we have NO creativity in attack, and he knws this himself as well...

| something that seems interesting(but in italian-calciomercato.com)about foggia,i hope someone can translate the main things(dont look good) 13:34 del 10 gennaio Un "giallo" Foggia e tanto altro mercato. Sviluppi a breve. (Corriere dello sport) Invia ad un amico | |

| Maybe we will try swap Simplicio - Ledesma? Delio always wanted Ledesma in his squad so, this is a chance to get rid from technically gifted midjet who has nothing to offer to us at this point of his career, for some first class midfielder.. Ballardini schould go for Cigarini and Canini, and to try to force some youngsters into the squad. | |

| Juventus seem to be very keen on Foggia, but I think they want to buy him outright? I don't know if Ferrara is interested in him though, or if its the president or whoever. If its Ciro, and he's sacked, then maybe Pasquale won't leave?
Inter seem intent on getting Kolarov. That's a real shame for us but if they offer a fair price then I guess Lotito should take it. But I don't want him to leave before the season finishes. At least if he leaves in the summer Lotito has time to find a replacement (if at all).

For me, this does not mean Rocchi is off to Zenit but it could well mean that Foggia could be off to Genoa. As soon as Floccari moved to us, it was always likely that it was a sweetener for Foggia. Don't forget, they did ask last summer only to be told "NO" by Lotito but for some reason, Foggia is problematic, he is working with the coach that got more out of him than any other and now they reunite at Lazio, Ballardini doesn't think he is good enough. I would be happy to see Foggia go because I reckon the man has as many problems as the player. Too much of a liability.

| Rumors about Luis Caceres from Cerro Porteno (where? exactly. Some uruguayan club), a 22 year old centrocampista. Lotito and Tare again scouting players for 1 million€ or less. They probably watched the game against Udine and came to a conclusion "wow our midfield really sucked today let's find some anonimous player and count on the element of surprise".
It's hard not to be sarcastic in these times.
Let's take an honest look at our midfield
Dabo - last year of the contract, injured, less and less a player to rely on
Baronio - looking for an extension. Never would be 1st choice if Ledesma would be available
Matuzalem - getting better. still injured a lot
Foggia - obviously disillusioned since Ballardini took over. Likely to leave
Mauri - stereotype of an average player. Rarely fucks up in the defense but incapable of anything in the offense. Passing the ball to the first man left, right, back or forward accurately is his biggest strength. Anything more is a problem.
Meghni - one good game, one bad game, 3 games injured. Best solution field him every 5th game and hope it's his "good game" time.
Brocchi - like Dabo, last year of the contract, has been surprisingly good on occasions
Firmani - Ah Firmani. Well we all love his fighting approach, but picking fights with opposition players isn't welcome. Also shows real lack of touch and skill plenty of times. In my opinion he can develop, but has to start asap
and the midfielders transformed from left and right back, Kolarov and Lichtsteiner. Kolarov adapted to his role brilliantly whereas I believe Lichty is struggling and that RB suits him more. And I omitted Perpetuini and Manfredini because of lack of playing time.
So this brings a question. We desperately need a player in the heart of the pitch who can link the play between the back 3, the wings and the forwards. Imagine what a player of Diego's or Pirlo's caliber would do for us. That is obviously not going to happen, but that is the kind of player Tare must find until the end of January or we are fucked.
Ideally this would look like this, left to right -----------------------Matuzalem--------------------------- Kolarov - someone who can actually play football - Lichty --------------------------Baronio---------------------
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
