romalazio.co.uk is under new ownership.The goat called Pete who mugged me still works for them.I am now told that I will get my refund and a ticket for the Derby.Well,i'll believe it when the money is in my account.As for the free ticket,I asked them for a ticket for the juve game.This was 3 days ago and I havent got a reply.

True Story - I Swear!

Today, on my way to work, i pulled over to assist a young lady who's car was broken down. After conecting the jumper leads to her battery, i went into the drivers seat to start her ignition. It was then, that i saw a Roma keyring on her keys!

I didnt start her car & I pretended that the engine refused to kick over. I took my jumper leads, left her a telephone number for a mobile mechanic and drove off.

Why do i feel so bad, yet so good at the same time? LOL

Haha! I've had that kind of ambivalence on a smaller scale. I was buying a new pair of cleats and the socks they brought me to try on were AS Roma socks. I had to comply, but sterilized my legs as soon as I got home.

@ Jofo: I apologise for "crying" about it It is very difficult to prove your worth as a student by playing a piano for 10 minutes but that's what it came down to and I just about pulled it off much to my surprise. Uni is not the lifestyle people believe it to be and it's very different for every individual.

Unfortunately, I get no rest now, it means I have to move out in 5 days. Fun. But there is one huge advantage; I finally get my unlimited use of high speed internet back Now I'll be able to talk to people in the Chatbox instead of reading and firing in some random comments.

PS. Good luck with your problems mate, just hope it works out for you like it did me.

When do you all start uni again? Sometime in September right?

I'm asking because in NZ the uni academic year starts late February, or early March. Right now we're in semester 2 and on a 2 week mid-semester break. Its nearly over so back to uni on Monday for 6 more weeks, then 4 exams, then the Christmas holidays. Its not really holidays though, I tend to have 3 jobs going on at the same time so its non-stop work but at least I get some $$$$$!

Because I slightly changed my degree program, I have to do this coming summer school starting on January 4th for 6 weeks, then an exam, followed by a 2 week break, then uni for 2010 starts. January and February are the best months (in terms of weather, and its my birthday ) - but I will be spending it at uni taking a paper in macroeconomics..... but at least I have some friends who will also be taking summer school papers so it won't be as lame.

I can identify with that.

I will officially start on the week beginning 21st Spetember. I only got my result yesterday so it's only now I can start preparing for next year, which is my final year and the lease on my new house starts on Monday so i have a week to move in and settle in which shouldn't be a problem.

From then until next June, I officially get all of 2 weeks of holidays (I can take more but technically I am supposed to be within the uni grounds). It's my final year so right now, I have 2 theses to think about in the next 2 weeks. Up until now, every bit of work I have done is in preparation for this year and none of the 25 or so exams I have done count towards my degree. So it's an all-or-nothing year for me now and a voyage into the unknown. With all the minor setbacks I had this summer, I haven't managed to catch or break or enjoy myself but at the same time, I'm looking forward to a heavy workload. I just hope I last the distance...
