| After this match i realise that is not just Ballardini`s fault .. or Tare`s or Lotito`s. The players are ludicrous. Let`s make a thread to cheer them Cribari prolly hated humanity when he choose to play football... and unlucky to us, he choose to do that in Lazio shirt. He shouldnt play even in 3rd Bulgarian division .. he`s just imbecil. Mauri..no comment. Another deer antler in life. Lichsteiner should go back to swiss or whatever and learn their sport: ski jumping. If Inter buy Kolarov (like i read somewhere), they will be fucked. Big time. Despite a powefull striker.. he can`t defend and he can`t hit the target. 99 out of 100 he`ll just send the ball over the stadium. It makes me laugh the Sinisa-Kolarov idea. Zarate needs to play football as well.. with the refs we can all talk. Because of him we lost this (or at least 95% his fault..just watch how they scored the 2nd goal). Now..it beats me why Radu was sent off and Cribari kept. Of course we`ll conced with those morons there. Why Mauri played again 90 mins ? Also beats me. I hope those morons just fucking die someday. We`re a mess.. and congrats to Salzburg.

| Makinwa was indeed not that bad, almost scored. We just need to play with a target man and Zarate around him. Cruz or Makinwa in my opinion qualify, Rocchi is not a target man in my opinion | |

| i try to not comment negative for some time but i can't take this any more...this is not Lazio
55min alone Zarate against 3 red bull difenders...that will bring his talent down and forgotten...we like to score a goal with all defensive players:Radu,Cribari,Diakite,Kolarov,Lich,Brocchi....omg
even is to late now but better now or never is time Bala to take his wife Lotito and his child Tare and go far far away from Lazio...if Bala have just little honor he will resign right away after this terable mach...we where like team from the Serie Z...

| In defense of Ballardini the problem is that as soon as we start playing more attacking with a and play a regular back for we are extremely shaky in defense, we were cut right open on numerous occasions after that. I presume thats why Ballardini in the league and now also in europe opted for a more defensive 3 man system in which wingbacks cover the flanks. Are defenders seem completely off balance when they operate as a back four | |

| I'm sick and tired of this smelling as. This is my Fuck You List....and the awards goes to:
1. Cribari - you must be the wors defender, not in Lazio, but in the whole damn Serie A and B. You couldnät defend even if your mother life depends on that. I can't belive someone is giving you money to run on the pitch. FUCK YOU!
2. Kolarov - learn how to defend! Don't shot from every angle, from every position. You are, or will never be, like Carlos or Miha. Your position play is Serie D level. FUCK YOU!
3. Lichsteiner - the only thing you do on the pitch is to....run. What the hell are you doing at Formello? Learn how to pass the damn ball or how to cross it! Footboll is not just running like Forrest Gump, if that would be the case, Usain Bolt would be mega star at Barca right now. I can't belive we gave away De SIlvestri for your sorry ass. FUCK YOU!
4. Zaraté - as much as I love your ambition but you need to pass the damn boll at the right time. Football is not a one man show and trully belive if you learn how and when to pass and when to dribble, you would be as Messi. It's your foult that we concided the second goal tonight, instead for yelling at the ref with the ball one meter from you, they took it and on counter attack killed us and made Cribari look like an idiot. FUCK YOU TOO!
5. Lotito, Tare, ballardini - you will take Lazio to the grave, Balla is a stubid bold fuck who thinks this is Cagliari. Wll Mister Everything Is Under Control, open you damn eyes behind those glasses and deal with the reallity. Or we will end up in Serie B and I promise you I will hunt you like a rat you are and beat the smelling as out of you. I don't want to talk about Lotito, he is not worth one word. The biggest FUCK ALL OF YOU THREE! Burn in hell mothafuckers!
Sorry for the language but I'm pissed of!!!!

| Our players spend more time arguing among themselves and yelling at the ref than trying to actually, you know, win the game. Absolutely unacceptable. I can take losses but this attitude makes me reluctant to watch our games. Have some dignity, losers! Zarate freaking stopped playing in order to whine for a penalty, Muslera headbutts a guy then has the gall to want a red card for him, instead of deservedly getting one himself. Is this a children squabble or a group of well paid professionals? | |

| Wanted the win very much today to stay in Europe The effort was there today, but Salzburg actually did very well and used the fact they only needed a draw. We had to attack but in the first half there was no link between midfield and attack. When Meghni & Rocchi came on in the second it was very different. Credit to the team for clawing back a goal after conceding, and we could have actually won the game with a little more luck (like Rocchi or Zarate scoring on their mistake). But again Salzburg played very well and some of our individual performances were bad enough. Where to start? In defence Cribari was again the missing man (what the hell happened to him since 2006-07?). Mauri was poor in midfield and should've won the game for us, but could not run on to a cross Foggia's policy of bursting forward and then tracking back sucked, not to mention his one-footedness. Eliseu had a decent shot early on but could not do much later. Kolarov was very ineffective going forward and usually late in defence. Zarate is a separate topic. He's probably the most frustrating player on earth in terms of his ability and how he uses it. I'd put him on the bench untill he passes the ball. I don't think it's his fault for the second goal, it was definitely a handball and I can understand his frustration. But For positives I think Lichtsteiner did well, Brocchi was not bad but playmaking of course is not his position, Radu and Diakhite were decent. As for the referee he was intent of booking every Lazio player, meanwhile Janko fouled 5464 times without getting booked. And his acting against Muslera was a disgrace. No wonder he was linked with rioma... Even if Muslera shouldn't have reacted. To conclude we badly need a playmaker, we need to play Rocchi in attack (or get Pandev back, which of course won't happen), and we need a quality defender, which is getting tired to repeat. Balla might be sacked soon but that wouldn't change much. A lot of sorting out to do but let's just forget this and win the derby... We shall rise again, FORZA LAZIO! | |

| I thought going to the pub and drowning my sorrows would work! Fuckin hell its worse. We are playing the worst football i have ever seen since becoming a fan and it sucks so bad.
I invited friends over to watch the game with me, and i have never been more humiliated in all my life. They laughed at how 'pathetic' we were.
If Balla looses the derby then he has to go, simple as.
Not good enough.

I agree..He needs to bloody pass the ball more often! Well, I think now is the time for us to reflect rather than critisizing our own players. No doubt, most of them played like girls and no passion. But, we need to be behind the team and ride through this storm. We are just not good enough to compete in Europe at the moment..not with the current strength/players in our squad. Lotito knows this..He refused to spend more and this is the price we have to pay! Mr President, thank you for taking care of La Lazio but its time for u to step down.

| Well, that was pretty much an expected result and performance. I had mixed feelings about watching the match on ITV4 - it was of course going to be great to have no buffering and low quality of a stream, however it made the anxiety more and made the problems with the team more glaring. To be honest, we did start OK for about 10 minutes; Eliseu's chance actually made me hope he would get into the game more but he then became totally disinterested and argumentative. It was obvious, and always has been, that Zarate cannot play alone up front, it is stupid to even argue any case for playing that way. It made us totally ineffective up front and caused him to quickly become frustrated with every hopeless long ball from Brocchi (how he is a playmaker, according to Ian Dowie, I don't know?), (Dowie kept calling him (A)Mauri and the rest. When he did get it to feet, oh look, he's had to find it himself so there is nobody in the middle. One thing that still really irks me is how absolutely clueless we are on free kicks and corners. I mean, do we EVER practice these set plays? It's of course more of a challenge to do well from such situations when you don't play with any particularly good headers of the ball (don't even get me started on Cribari's hopeless ability at headed clearances ), but our players seem unable to put in a good delivery and unable to bother to make space in the box to attack the ball (if by chance a delivery is so-so). Set pieces should offer a chance to score even when you are not playing particularly well or creating chances from open play - we don't have that option to fall back on at the moment. Defensively it was not too bad from certain angles, Diakite and Radu were fairly stable and stopped much of what Salzburg threw at them. Lichtsteiner was poor going forward, although to be honest, when he did get up there his cross was OK but nobody was in the box at all. Kolarov was very wasteful with crosses, long shots and losing the ball up field. Mauri should have gambled on the big chance made by Rocchi, I don't know why he thought he'd stay behind the covering defender who slowed down anyway, he could have at least thrown himself forward at the ball. Rocchi made a difference, if only to show that Zarate needs to play from wide or deep with another forward. He also tried to get in between the defenders and profit from the odd through ball (how he must miss Pandev's link up play down the middle). Credit to our dearest Maki for actually getting on the end of a set play and hitting the woodwork, more than most of our players have done for seasons. To be fair, he didn't do bad in his few minutes and it would have been surely preferable to have started him with Zarate if we needed to rest Rocchi for much of the game, at the very least then Zarate would have been able to play his proper game. Essay over, Europa over. | |
