Ecco tutte le possibili avversarie della Lazio: Slogan Liberec, Anorthosis, Aberdeen, Brondby, Metalurg Donetsk, Helsingborg, Amkar Perm, Tromso, Vorskla Poltava, Sion, Timisoara, Genk, Stella Rossa, Heart of Midlothian, Krylia Sovetov, Trabzonspor, Guingamp, Paok Salonicco, Zilina, Rapid Vienna, Pacos de Ferriera, NAC Breda, Nacional Funchal, Teplice. Lazio are a seeded team so we can face in the play-off round, anyone from that list. Matches will be played over two legs on August 20 and 27. Personally I'd like to face Guingamp, who finished 3 points above the drop zone in Ligue 2 but anyone there we are good enough to beat

| I'd really like us to get Rapid Vienna, it's close, the city and stadium is nice, the club isn't too strong, and it would be fairly close to most. Stella Rosa is also close, but the atmosphere could be "sketchy" judging from last time | |

| http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/seedel2009.htmlThat list from Tuttomercatoweb is inaccurate, it lists some teams, presuming that the likely teams all make it to the play-off round, which in some cases is unlikley with some of the teams starting in the 2nd round. The list above, is accurate, it indicates, that even if all the strongest teams make it to the play-off round, including the 15 drop-outs from the Champions League 3rd Qualifying round, we will stil get seeded, we would be like 28 out of 35 (Provided the strongest teams make it) so realistically we will be seeded in the middle of the top group. But make no mistake, there are stil some very tricky games in there like: Krylia Sovetov - Finished 4th in Russian Premier League Red Star Belgrade - Great European Pedigree, and a tough place to go Vorskla Poltava - Ukraine Cup Champions beating Shaktar Donetsk Trabzonspor - Finished 3rd in Turkish League, a great team, and an extremley difficult place to go, the best home record in the Turkish league, the team is so far east in Turkey that it represents one hell of a long trip. PAOK Thessaloniki - Decent Greek team, done well in the league, finishing 2nd only to be ousted for CL in the GReek play-off's. Toulouse - 4th in The French League, very tough trip. Fulham - 7th In the Premiership, obviousally a tough one CFR Cluj - Beat Roma away last year, and held Cheslea at home, tough. Lech Poznan - Finished 3rd in Polish League, a good team. Some CL 3rd Qualifying Round Droput's - If betean could include the likes of Sivaspor, Dynamo Moscow, FC Twente, Wisla Kraków, Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Haifa & FC Salzburg Just trying to be a little realistic here, by no means does being seeded mean a straight-forward path to the Group Stage. But we are Lazio we are good enough to beat anyone in the Competition if we play to our maximum. | |

| Let me explain.
As cup winners of a top association, we are in the "play-off round". There are three qualifying stages before this and the play-off round is the final round before the Europa League begins properly. So, we have a two-legged tie to get through before we qualify for the group stages.
However, it is impossible to say who we could face yet. Why? Shakhtar Donets'k qualified for the Champions League and as they are the current "title holders", this makes an extra place available; a place that UEFA may decide not to use. UEFA have yet to decide how they plan to work around this although common sense would say they throw an extra team in it and promote a few sides up according to co-efficients.
Either way, it doesn't effect the fact that we are in the play-off round but it does change who we could play.
The play off round is divided as follows. 26 teams qualify due to league and cup positions (we are one of those), 15 teams who lose in the 3rd round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers also enter the draw as do the 35 winners of the third qualifying round for the Europa League.
This means we have 76 teams and I can't find any source that says this draw is seeded or unseeded. So, potentially, we could face Rioma...
The draw is crucial, there are some kick ass teams in there and a few sides we could thrash. It all depends on the draw.
The draw is made on the 7th of August and we will play the tie on the 20th and 27th of August.

Common sense prevails, meaning there will be a seeding structure and teams from the same country cannot face each other. This link suggests that if a seeded team is knocked out prior to the play-offs, then that unseeded team can make themselves a seed at their discretion. This doesn't effect us in qualifying but it could mean a weaker Europa League if there are any upsets early in qualifying rounds.

| I just hope we get the lousiest team in the draw, no matter where it is. Because if we arrive to the group stages that means three away games and that would probably mean that all of us would have at least one short trip to attend an away game. Then I'd also like to add that I hope we play a one-legged game in Hamburg next year in May. | |
