Nesta...is time to work and organize a real support from swedish laziali in the stadium! Please start one topic and give us all main info for the match, hotels, places, tikets.
And be aware...the LazioLand flag will arrive in Sweden!
No problem Erme, i will get to it right away (after work ), together with Mr.Andersson we will try to organize something if possible! Lets wait and see! And i hope you will join us, its about time
Hello Nesta Jr. Will it be possible for www.sslazio.dk to join in? I dont know how many of the members are thinking of going to the match, but I know some few of us are!

Sile ELF is old Swedish for RIVER and BORG means CASTLE,
No no, I think my explanation is correct. It makes more sense.

Is there anymore information about the date the home match in Olimpico will be played? Rumours said that we will play the first leg at home on the 20th or the 18 of August?!

This will be a masacre.
I heard that the Elfsborg team can only swap shirts at the end of the second leg because they only have 1 set.

Ok guys, this is a perfect for us in Sweden to make a great contribution!
I was in contact with Borås Arena today, and just as some others have already said, the tickets will be released this coming week. However, the info I got was that no tickets to the away section will be sold to any others than Lazio supporers FROM ITALY. I objected and the gentleman I spoke to told me to get back on Monday. I also spoke to another fellow Laziale, and he had recieved the same information. Regarding this matter, we have to wait and see ths week how things will unfold regarding the ticket issue. In the worse case someone needs to sort out tix for us n the away section.
Anyways, the plan is to set up a great greeting to our team, and to be represented in the stadium of course. I suggest the lot of us that want to help out in organizing this "sign up" as soon as possible, I count Nesta Jr and Mr. Andersson, together with the great Mad Dog and Laziogirl in as 100% sure to be interested in helping out. Would be beautiful if anyone was from Borås and wasinterested in helping out as well. I already know around 10 guys that want to come along, that is not a part of any forum or such, so maybe a bus from Stockholm to Borås could be an option..?
I am not trying to "boss around", but I think we need to organize ourselves and quickly find a nice package to share with all people that want to come around. Contact a proper hotel, sort out the ticket issue and so on. Also, we need detail on when and were the team will arrive, so that we can go there and be present.
All guys that are interested in planning ans helping out, please reply to this tread and when te tiket issue is clearer we can start a new thread with more specific details...

Good luck with the organising mate, hope you all have a blast.
I'll be crossing my fingers that one day the team will travel down under for a pre season camp. wishfull thinking perhaps.

I agree with the philosophy there Cash. Inevitably, there's not much time to organise the derby meeting so you really need to get the ball rolling now, I'm 100% with you on that.
Any more info on Elfsborg though? Keene did a job last night, is he the regular dangerman? I briefly remember him in England, if only because his surname sounds a tad Irish
He looked a decent player though in the lower leagues. I know about Lucic and Svensson already (always thought the later was a terrific player in his day). Can anybody fill us in?

Australian, Ante Covic is their GK, not sure if he is their #1
50/50 goalkeeper, can make flashy point blank saves, but even with his height, he struggles on the high ball & kicking long when under pressure from pacey strikers. He has had some shockers when he played for newcastle in the A-league.
Heres a link of the last game i saw him live at, once you see some of the goals he conceded, you'll know why i think this will be a massacre. The second goal dosnt show his bad kick out, but basically it was a scuffed kick straight to our striker who passed it through to another to score. Thats why Covic is so furious in the clip.
The last goal, shows his inadequacy when dealing with high balls, and this is a consistent bad trait of his.

The closest we have got Bobbi, is watching Fabio Vignaroli for newcastle? lmao!

If Fabio is in town I will get him to sign my Lazio jersey
Well in both of Elfsborg's matches against Braga in the previous round, Covic was their GK so I assume he is their #1.

I had the pleasure of seeing Covic do this live:
Second goal. He's quite an average goalkeeper, but makes good reflex saves.
Either way, I think the big issue will be fitness and form. Elfsborg are mid-season, we aren't. On paper we're much bette, but they're in a higher gear.
