Forza Lazio!!!

I've been checking some EL stats, when we pass Elfsborg (90% sure) we will arrive in pot 2 or 3, depending on some games Thursdays.

For the moment we are in pot 3, but have to gain 1 spot to enter pot 2.

Games to watch :
AS Riomma - MFK Košice (3-3)
Zenit - Nacional (3-4)
Club Brugge - Lech Poznan (0-1)
Heerenveen - PAOK (1-1)
Austria Wien - Metallurh Donetsk (2-2)
APOEL - FC Kobnhavn (0-1) in CL

if one of the bold teams dont qualify for the next round, we are in pot 2

But in a way I prefer to stay in pot 3, because then I got teams enough in pot 1 and 2 to watch some live-games, teams like Ajax, PSV, HSV, Werder, Lille, Celtic, Everton, Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Heerenveen, ...

Whichever pot we land in, we'll be sure to dominate. Even the so called "stronger" teams like Zenit etc... have been struggling of late. I feel our squad is experienced enough, and gelling better.

We should have a good shot on passing the group stage shouldn't we?
As I see it we are stronger then both Salzburg and Levski when we use our full capacity and somewhere around Villareal. But ofcourse a big advantage if we can clinch the first place so we get easier oponent in playoffs!

I'll finally have the chance to see Lazio in Bulgaria. I'm a fan of CSKA Sofia so I'll be pretty happy if Lazio beat Levski Sofia.

A decent group for us would've thought..definitely could have been worse with teams like Valencia, Celtic, PSV, Galatasaraay etc

Villareal will be tough...should win the group but we should contest for top spot..

I would have also loved to see Lazio - CSKA and Levski - Ass Rioma but unfortunately it won't happen. Never mind.

It's the top 2 sides joey. But coming first and second makes a huge difference for the next round.

Top 2 of each group go to next round : 12 x 2 = 24 teams

+ 8 (3rd places) from CL = total 32 teams for knock out

Levski hosts Lazio on the 1 of October and there is a huge problem for me...I have to defend my major's degree report sometime between the 1 and the 5 of October... I'll see what happens and there is no doubt who I'll be supporting ! Levski sucks this year so I think we will not have any problems to beat them. FORZA LAZIO!
