| Their key players are Anders Svensson (regista) and Teddy Lucic (central defender). Anders is playing and Teddy recently retired from the national team. James Keane, the striker who scored twice in their last game vs. Braga is probably out with an injury. | |

James Keane, the striker who scored twice in their last game vs. Braga is probably out with an injury. Anders Svensson as the dude who once played in Brøndby? And I also recognize Ericsson. I know he can be a threat, although he showed bad form the last season he was in danish football.

| Emir Bajrami could be somone to have our eye's on. Like to challenge 1on1. Played a great U-21championship for Sweden this summer. His only weakness from beeing a player for bigger clubs in europe as I see it is that he misses way to many chances. | |

| We need only 2 players on the field to beat them. Muslera and Maurito, that's what we need. The Swedish Allsvenskan is even not near Serie B in my eyes. Elfsborg is the best team, but they don't have the players agianst a team like Lazio. FORZA LAZIO!!! | |

| I am assuming this squad is just for the playoffs and that we will be able to make changes to the final Europa list should we progress? I was wondering the same Bobbi, the two forwards especially seem very unlucky to miss out considering another young player has been called up in Sciamanna. Same in midfield, Sevieri is called up, and in goal where is Degre? It is all very well to promote youth, hey we'd probably all prefer it to the same old squad players, but why not continue with some who have a bit of experience? My only thought is that they must have already been told they are going on loan, at least until xmas so there is no need to include them. Stendardo, I don't want to say about him again .... Firmani could easily play the role that Baronio occupied couldn't he? | |

Ledesma will talk with Lotito very soon, but what I read - not before the Osasuna game. So, this situation should be solved about the next week. My opinion - Ledesma will stay. The other two - I think they will not play a game for us anymore. Both will be sold.

Forza lazio anyway but this is far more weaker team then last year. I hope that Balla knows what he is doing but if we don't count on the disidenti and players like Makinwa, Stendardo..... then we need to be more active on mercato to cover the necessary roles. From the players registered I only see potential in half of them. I now that we need to cut our squad but do we cut the right players. It's hard for me to believe that Lazio chose to continue without Rozendhal, Pandev, Ledesma one of our best in their positions and now without proper replacement. Lugano only won't show us the light we need something more.

| I agree Jofo. A player like Lugano isn't the only player Lazio need to fill all the required roles. If key players like Ledesma leave then we are pretty screwed - unless someone like Simplicio or Bolatti is brought in. Baronio is decent but not a player we can always rely on. - Bridge-Bhoy wrote:

Lugano only won't show us the light we need something more. I disagree, I think the team is stronger. Of the dissidenti, there is only one player who's absence will negatively affect the team and that is Ledesma. Midfield is the one area where we haven't improved, and if Ledesma stays as I believe he might, or a new player of similar quality comes in, which I doubt will happen, then we should be OK. This is the hardest position on the field to find a decent player in. The rest though aren't big losses. Pandev didn't light the world on fire last season and we've brought in Cruz who adds a different aspect to our attack. Lorenzo was a sub, nothing more. Stendardo doesn't really count as a loss as he's been gone for 18 months. Having Makinwa out makes the team look better. Rozehnal cost us numerous goals with disastrous defending, and assuming Lugano comes in, he will be the leader this backline needs. He won't turn us into a scudetto team but the difference will be noticeable. Having someone there to organise things is all we needed, and Lugano can do that. Also he is great at dealing with balls into the area, which is the main area we struggled with last year. But the most important thing of all, is how the team is coming along as a group. Don't know how closely people read interviews with the boys and stuff, but so far there is a real sense of 'mateship' to use an Aussie word about the squad. Everyone is getting on, Ballardini deals with players well, everyone has their chance to prove themselves. There is competition, but its healthy. A massive difference to the infighting of the Delio Rossi days.

| I remember that i saw Elfsborg one year or 2 years ago playing against Dinamo Bucharest and they were great (they beat Dinamo). I don`t know how they are now but if they are again in this competition in play-off..they are good. Of course we are Lazio but.. :) | |
