That's what it says on lazialita'. Golasa is a great talent, I've seen him play a couple of times. But until stuff is confirmed on the SSLazio official site, I can't believe it. The Eguren transfer was too much.

| Ledesmas agent told the press today that Lotito has finally understood he has to lower his demands or he will be left empty handed so probably a deal will be anounced today for Ledesma to Inter. Even though i'm not happy seeing him leave for another club in Italy it's the only right thing to let him go... | |

It is all damage control...
No one would want to see Ledesma leave...if we were having a great season, seeing our players fight and grind out results..showing passion..we would never want someone like ledesma to leave the club...
however, given that pandev left for nothing....whatever we get for ledesma is a bonus..and the court hearing in favour of lazio was a blessing...if we get 8m and co ownership of a youngster on inter\'s books...it has been a decent way to minimise total damage...
what still is a massive problem in the heart of the midfield...
looking like we have nabbed Golasa from Maccabi....midfielder who Bayern Munich were after....don\'t know much about him though..obviously has champions league experience with Maccabi so can\'t be a bad thing..
and Hitzlsperger looks on his way aswell....
what do people make of it? two youngish guys that have talent..thats about it...whether it translates to success who knows...

| I'm hearing Hitzlsperger is at Paideia doing the medical now (hopefully its not like Eguren's) 2 million euro to Stuttgart and he signs until 2012, earning just over 1 million per season.
No idea about Golasa, but apparently he's doing a medical too. Israelis arent EU so if this is true, then no Ederson. (Unless we are selling Makinwa or something but let's not dream too much LOL.)

Hopefully the deals (Hitz + Ederson or Golasa) finally go through...I think we only pay about a mil for Hitz, as his contract expires at the end of the season! By the way, Golasa would be a very interestin signing, I have seen him play in CL against Bayern Munich and he was causing some trouble!! I would probably prefer him over Ederson, considering this guy is only 18 years old and plays a massive role in Haifa's team...

Golasa is very good but to get both would be brilliant.
Also, dunno if its been mentioned but we are also dealing for Genoa's central defender Giuseppe Biava. He's almost 33, OK but nothing special. Better than Siviglia I guess.

31-GEN-10 12:31 www.ansa.it Ignoring the political bullsh*t, it says next summer Golasa has to do military service with the Israeli army. He'll get pretty fit then I guess. 4 and a half year contract.

Good question, but I did some research and I think not, the Swiss are considered EU even though they're not members because of some other treaties they signed. Anyway as much as I wish a warm welcome to Hitzlsperger and Golasa I'm still pretty pissed and worried about the GOD DAMN DEFENSE!!!!!!! Possibly if we go back to 4-4-2 then we might endure with a backline of Radu-Stendardo-Diakite-Licht, but that's a stretch. Just one quality CB, just one and I'll be ecstatic.

Whilst I share your sentiments, you could argue that with a better midfield our defenders won\'t have to battle so much like they do..My fingers are crossed that we pick up Ederson aswell...with Hitzlsperger and Golasa...We would have 3 players that have strong creative characteristics...
But would be nice if we got a decent CB who just dominates...
I think players like Stendardo, Diakite and Radu have been good in patches...But I think with an improved midfield they may be able to have more confidence..rather than shitting themselves every time they are put under pressure..

I speak absolutely no German, but this is on Stuttgart's official site. Does this make it official?
