Not wanting Lazio to win is one thing, booing our own players and cheering the other team is disgraceful, i am embarassed.

Yeah right. That blogger seems to forget that Inter beat the big Barcelona with 3-1. It`s so weired that they could beat a 15th place with 2-0. Yeah, right.

actually, she's a milanista from what Ive heard and is bitter against Inter to 'provincial levels'. She is in all esence a hypocrite and wrote only a few weeks ago how she'd love a merda Scudetto at the expense of Inter. She's a disgrace to that site.

And bytheway, on behalf of those who could not hear the sounds from the stadium and have to rely on susy LOL campanale LOL article LOL, let me say two words about the atmosphere today in the stadium.

It was a party. On the way to the stadium Lazio fans and Inter fans exchanged chants and reciprocal encouragement. In the name of a very very old fans friendship, stronger than a 3-0 final UEFA Cup, stronger than the 5 may 2002. In the name of our gratitude to Inter fans, for having already saved our city from the sack of the barbarians more than once in the last years.

In the stadium, Lazio fans chanted some "ale' Inter", and the Inter fans chanted "a Roma solo la Lazio!". Like every time the two teams meet.
Right before the match, the two fans united together in the memory of Gabbo, as the Olimpico screens displayed the images of Gabbo, with the music of the song "è già domenica", made by a famous Italian rock group to remember Gabbo. Btw, complimenti Paolo :)

Despite what susy LOL campanale LOL vomits on the Lazio fans, there was no booing to Lazio players before/during/after the match. Just a rising disappointment in seeing Muslera saving everything in the first half that lead to two (2) protest chants "invasione perchè no" and "se vincete ve menamo". Mostly chanted with the smile on the face, because we just wanted to have fun. Exactly like the banner "oh nooooo", appeared in Curva Nord after Inter scored.

When Inter scored 40,000 Laziali celebrated it: right after, the whole stadium was jumping and singing "chi non salta è della roma". Now, I wonder, should this 40,000 Laziali be ashamed of celebrating Inter saving our ass, or perhaps is it more that people such as susy do not know a damn sh*t about Serie A fans, their ties and their rivalries? And in the specific, about roma's?

Funny enough, susy campanale cites "calciopoli" scandal. Perhaps she needs an update on that scandal, because her roma hereinfter "the saints, the puritans" is involved. I'd love to hear susy's comment on the phone call between Pradè and Mazzini, where they set up favours to rescue the puritans from the bottom of the table. Sure susy has written about roma-atalanta, with the black-blue gk that moved away from the goal and tiribocchi making pippes at the attack. Or roma-bari LOL. Or when the saints were given a scudetto by the Lega that changed the rule in the middle of the league. If you find this stuff, please post it.

PS. susy I'm really sorry but this year we are not going to be relegated baby, our good friends atalanta have just spared us from that honor... rosica Very Happy Serie A, LAZIO-INTER, Sunday, 2-05-10 - Page 5 Wank

Can anyone help me with this please. I am looking for the picture from an old Inter vs Lazio match where there is a banner with mr enrich and that dog shaking hands ( IRR and Boys I think )

Conn: I watched the game on tv and there were some booes when Muslera saved the shots. I really hope that the Lazio fans turn up for a training at formello and support him, he deserves it.

I am happy about the outcome of the match and I don't care if some non Laziale understand us or not. This is part of the Lazio culture, hating roma. It would be the same way if it was roma in that situation.ùù

in few words after Inter goal....

Can't be dissapointed with the result, we won't relegate. Atalanta won't win two times and we're going to take at least one point from the two games ahead of us.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHAHHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHHA @ susy!

I was literally laughing out loud whilst reading that ridiculous article. In fact I still am. Get over it bitch. Its not like ass merda 1927 wouldn't have done the same if the roles were reversed.

In all honesty though I can't believe Football Italia actually allowed that post to go online.

But still I'm laughing and grinning with delight with both this article and how today's result literally screws merda over.

Just hope Inter keep playing as well as they have been for the next 2 matches. Grazie Inter.

You have to be a Lazio fan to understand our passion! We love our club and would fight and even die for it! Lazio is a religion and a lifestyle that you would not understand. So before you write rubbish and hateful trap like that remember you're a journalist nothing more...

Change your tampon, then write with a clear head you ignorant cunt!

The funny thing is that Susy is actually not romanista but milanista!

I had an interesting encounter with a milanista today at uni. He saw me walking wearing my Lazio top and asked me the score as he missed the game. I told him with a smile and he walked off swearing.

Very Happy

I could not resist. I have sent this email to 'Football Italia'.

Quote :
Dear Sir/Madam,

As a fan of the club that brought football to the Italian capital, SS Lazio, I would like to take the liberty to share my disappointment and disgust regarding the article posted on your website, written by Susy Campanale.

First of all I don't see where exactly Lazio has embarrassed themselves. We were up against what is probably the best team in Europe at the moment, a team which is playing the final of the Champions League after beating Barcelona (and so many others), a team playing the final of the Coppa Italia, and not to forget the current champion of Italy. The first half of Lazio wasn't even that bad, compared to what we've had to endure in some matches over the past season. I find it revolting that Susy is stating the Calciopoli scandal, because as she might not know, our friends of AS Roma seem to be involved. Whether Roma deserves the title has absolutely nothing to do with last night's game, in which Lazio simply played against a much stronger side. Moreover, since Atalanta did not win their match earlier that day, Lazio was as good as saved from relegation - meaning this match against Inter was not of great importance. This, however, did not mean they would let Inter win, they have played for what they are worth. Why Lazio is perhaps not a very excellent side at the moment, would be a question for our president.

Secondly, the atmosphere in the stadium. As a writer of a website about Italian football, the least you'd expect as a reader is some knowledge, nevermind understanding of Italian football. I cannot and will not let someone call the Lazio fans pathetic, small-time supporters, after a season in which the Laziali have proven to be the best fans a club could ever imagine. They have been at the bottom of the league for a whole year, but have always held their heads up high, protesting at times, but most of all supporting the team, and following their colours anywhere and everywhere in their thousands. However beautiful Susy Campanale's sentence "their only joy in life is wallowing in bitterness and dragging everyone else down to their level" might be, it is an utter disgrace to have such lies posted on your website. Weren't it the Roma fans, who had more banners at the two derby meetings this season regarding Lazio and their possible relegation, than supporting their own team? Wasn't it Francesco Totti, who showed himself - once again - a pathetic, small-time player by mocking the Lazio fans instead of celebrating Roma’s win? Weren't it the Roma fans, who celebrated our relegation years ago, who supported other teams playing us over the years? And what Susy seems to forget, or ignore, is that the Lazio and Inter fans have one of the strongest friendships in Italy. It's not just a question of mutual respect, it is a bond uniting the Laziali and the Interisti since years and years. Like in every match between Inter and Lazio, both sets of fans sang songs for each other's teams, this is nothing new. The songs about losing the match were - needless to say - ironic and sang with a smile on the face, just like the banner 'oh nooo' was a sarcastic sign to show that the Laziali did not mind to lose this match (seen that Lazio was as good as saved from relegation at that point anyway) against their brothers from Milano.

Susy Campanale talks about dignity, but I would say that is exactly what she is lacking. In any case, if she cares so much about 'dignity', I assume I can expect an email from her in which she will explain to me why she wrote the things she wrote.

Kind regards

Kind regards

great letter lucky strike , i actually wrote a letter to the editorial last night, but i'm losing my coolness upon writing the letter :)
