Here's the CN statement I found on tuttomercatoweb

Quote :

ULTRAS LAZIO CURVA NORD

It would take me a long long time to translate because I don't really speak Italian, but from what I understood the main points are:

1) it was a matter of 1st vs 17th on the table
2) who doesn't know the Derby can not understand the joy of seeing merda fail
3) a list of games where riommanisti and their fans acted the same way, helping out Juve and Fiorentina in the process (also to hurt us, wearing Milan jerseys)
4) a call to politicians to care more about Gabbo than the result of yesterday
5) a call to "journalists" to just once set foot in the stands when they clearly know nothing about mentalita ultras
6) a call to Rosella Sensi and Totti to suck balls. Totti scored the goal against Parma with the help of his hand, and now they talk about sportsmanship. Ma vaffanculo.
7) riomma merda

Imagine us getting a point or points from the Inter game, and maybe handing over the Scudetto to Riomma ... we will be the laughing joke till the end of our lives, really !

Beter to live a year in hate, then a life as a joke.

I know that one day, Riomma will get this back on us, and smack it in our face ... but i'm prepared for it, today, tomorrow, forever!

Great posts and letters Conn, Lucky Strike, Caput Mundi and Caxi. Enjoyed reading everyone of those. Would love to see a site like Football Italia post them but they wouldn't have the balls to do it.

Actually Secret you didn’t understand my post. I was talking about the possibility to control your emotions, not about being relegated.. I gave my opinion, if you don’t like it you don’t have to read it. At least I said what I think, didn’t repeated something that somebody said before like omega male.

That's Riomma's attitude...
What should we expect? That's how Riomma understands "sportmanship"!!
They are first in blaming us instead of looking at themselfes.

How could hate for Riomma be so much bigger than love for Lazio? sentence or question I have read and asked by many times and only by merda fans, that's why I said that. I don't know about you, but I enjoy when merda suffers. Wink

My (hopefully) last response to the debate.

Beacons of morality

They continue to chastise and lecture us. They continue to denounce us. They sent bullets to our president. They have even demanded we be sent to B. They claim to be the shining lights of all that is good in the world of football.

7th June 1993. The last day of the 1992-93 season. AC Fiorentina were on the ropes. Serie B was looming and the viola stared directly down the gunbarrel. Their fate was not in their hands, unfortunately for them, as their destiny was controlled by AS Roma, a club whose fanbase wanted desperately to see the Tuscans in B.

In the final round of the campaign, Fiorentina needed a win over Foggia at home. Yet, they also needed Udinese to be defeated by asr. The viola got the only result they had any control of, as they smashed Foggia 6-2 at the Franchi. In the capital though, their hopes were crushed, by the very team which proclaims to define dignity, integrity and sportsmanship.

All Udinese needed was one point, and Fiorentina would be in B. The Roma fans knew full well, and they made their views as clear as we did this past weekend. They cheered as Udinese scored an equaliser against them, almost unopposed by the Roma players. They celebrated as Fiorentina went down.

The following is an extract of a report, written by Massimo Fabbricini, and published in the Corriere della Sera on the Monday after the match.

Quote :
Thumbs were turned down yesterday at the Olimpico, just as they once were in the Colosseum, but there were no gladiators. Sentenced in absentia to relegation, to great acclaim, was Fiorentina. To benefit from the ruthless determination of the giallorossi fans was Udinese, who were handed on a silver platter the opportunity to at least not lose their place in Serie A, over 90 extraordinary minutes.

History doesn’t lie. History never forgets.

And yet, what the Roma fans, along with the vehemently anti-Inter media (who have therefore become honorary romanisti for the remainder of the season) and those who do not understand Italian football culture would have you believe, is that they are not like this. They are clean and pure. They are the saints of calcio and they have won something greater than a scudetto this week.

We at Lazio do not care about being liked by the majority. We never have. We have always been against the rest. It forms apart of our identity. I don’t make apologies for wanting an Inter victory. I would do the same thing over and over. Only those who love, can understand hate. But don’t continue this argument that somehow the other half of our city are pure and clean. If they are pure and clean, then so are we, and we don’t go about pretending that we are the saints of football and imposing our moralistic values on others. In fact, everyone’s hate and their vitriolic comments directed at us will only make our survival in Serie A sweeter than it otherwise would have been.

Brilliant post Caput Mundi.

I have a dream. A dream of Inter beating merda in the Coppa Final, and then of unravelling a huge banner saying "Why did you roll over to Inter?". or "Sold game".

bastards. Acting as if we lost to Albinoleffe or Crotone. Daje Inter tomorrow, zero titoli for merda.

Let me add a couple of things:

1) in the summer following asroma-udinese, asroma got Abel Balbo at a "favor price".

2) watch this video (asroma-Juve, 1973): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xABp2p__coE
Notice the way Juventus scores, especially the second goal, and all the asroma fans celebrating it in Tribuna Tevere.

F*ck them, and f*ck them especially hard where no sun is shining!

Before blaming others without reason (we lost to the damn CL finalist which is dominating the league since five years and we haven't beaten them in ages) they should take care of themselves. Lousy is the best word to describe what they are doing now.

First of all, the fans were celebrating not the players.
Second, we lost to Inter not Livorno :S.
And third, Roma fans would have done the same thing against us.

Terrific post Caput. Really enjoyed reading it and its exactly how every Laziali sees it as well I think.

Fuck merda.

Regarding the Lazio - Inter game..... I met an Inter fan from Albania yesterday at uni indoor soccer, and obviously told him I support Lazio. Firstly he couldn't believe I support Lazio given how rare we are down under and then he asked me how I felt about the result and Lazio fans celebrating. I gave him the biggest smile ever and said I fucking enjoyed every second of it. He said he also hates tottina and merda, especially after the Coppa final! cheers
