i agree with zoran's formation, but I think the central defense should be Dias-Radu/Stendardo. And I think we should get rid of Biava and get Diakite more playing time.

also i forgot to mention something about Floccari and Hugo Almeida.. im still not convinced that we pay 9.5 for Floccari but if we did - than we pay to much ..he often get some injury and i don't think that he's value is more than 5mill.. we can buy for less money (around 5-6) Hugo Almeida which i think that he is with more quality than Floccari.. from 1 to 5(excellent) i value Floccari with 3(good) and Almeida 4(very good) which can be 5 after year spend in Lazio
..i know that someone will say that he was best striker last season - but that was because the others where playing bad and he was just good and that's why to much noticed. (not to mention with Merda game - he sucked most)
anyway he is good but better solution will be Almeida.. and if he come (which i don't think so) i think that he will be 1st solution with Zarate in the attack

FWIW, Caxi, in your wrap you make it sound like we played the Greek giants Olympiakos.

We actually played Olympiakos Volos, who only just got promoted to the top div in Greece.


I like Zoran's formation on the previous page as well, but I'd start Dias ahead of Diakite'. Dias is good enough to adjust quickly to a back 4.

Don't know where to post this but I think here is fine. Its about the 29 man squad Reja has just taken to Fiuggi.

Some interesting choices IMO..... namely why wasn't Cavanda taken? And why were the likes of Correa and Cribari?

We're going to play a friendly against Racing Santander on the 10th @ olimpico, and a friendly against Ascoli on the 14th in Fiuggi.

Tommorow we'll play a three-way tourney with Sora nad Latina - some amateur/lower league clubs I guess.

I hope for a stream of the Santander match...

when are we going to start facing bigger clubs ......

i guess this will be my first positive comment about our friendly games...after watching games against Iran and Al.N ...today was our best game and you all now can see the difference with playing 2 center defenders...first against Latina we where playing 4-3-3 and against Sora we where playing 4-3-1-2 and we where all the time at the opponents half...very good games...Foggia will be perfect in 4-3-3 tactic...also compliments to Bresciano...and also is so clear that with 2 centerD is much more easy to make offside trap than with 3 centerD..as i can notice from this 2halfs i think that our "nature" tactic is 4-3-1-2 even we have much more players for 4-3-3
