Makinwa shows anxiety for proving his skills.

I think Makinwa might be the surprise of the season.

more importantly for me, Rossi put Diakite to the test and he kept a clean sheet and also, at last, they went 4-3-3 in the second half.

This is a good result imo, considering we are still exerimenting with players. I also like to see Makinwa scoring since we cant let our 3 strikers play 90 min every game.

good point, we can always stick on Foggia or Mauri or a central defender near the end of the match, if we're in command, but if we're chasing a game, Makinwa could be a useful weapon and an alternative to throwing on Kozak and hitting long balls at him.

Diakite is back to the starting 11 which is great, this is his chance alongside Tuia to grab the chance to play more following Cribari and Sivigilia miserable form.

I think that the 1st half formation is great with minor adjustments:

Foggia in for Mauri
De Silvestri for Lich.
Kolarov for Manfradeni
Rocchi for Zarate

hmmm...I don't know if I'd pick Rocchi over Zarate now...that's a tough call.

I think a 3-0 scoreline is an impressive result. Rossi tried different players and a different formation and it proved well having 4 at the back. Great to see Diakite was in action for a good portion of the game - and kept a clean sheet is always boosting for the entire team. Also good to see Mauri scoring again and Makinwa doing good to get on the score sheet aswell. That is encouraging news. And offcourse Pandev scoring again is great!

Any reports on the game or highlights, pictures, anything?

Tuia was 16 !?

I just followed the last game, but to be honest Zarate was quite impressive! the same goes for the kids Diakite and Tuia (No.16)

I still cann't build my conclusion at this Lazio side esp. we miss the likes of Rocchi, De Silvestri, Foggia (injured), and Kolarov that will defenitly change our game.

I am still hopeful that this side can improve alot even though the Olympics is not helping us at all, but at the moment I like the underdog status of this side unless Mr.Rossi is gonna to suprise us later on!

Matches against Liverpool and Porto will be a real indicator where this team really is standing.
