every year near the summer, we have problem about Pandev's contract!
And who's to blame for that? We all know the answer. That is an issue that should have been resolved months ago, as well the one with Ledesma and Foggia, but nooo, our president has more important stuff on his mind. So what if we keep Zarate and lose Goran and Ledesma or Foggia?

zlatan ibra currently gets 9 million euro per year salary!!!
it's even far more expensive than zarate's installment or our starting eleven wages combined into one!! pandev and zarate are worth more than one ibra... just give pandev salary he wants... 2 or 2,5 million is the standard amount for a good player like him...

Pandev doubt for Coppa Final Thursday 7 May, 2009
Lazio hitman Goran Pandev is a doubt for the Coppa Italia Final after limping out of training.
The Macedonian striker is a crucial piece of Delio Rossi's jigsaw and was expected to start up front against Sampdoria on May 13.
However, Sky Sport 24 reports that Pandev had to leave training early today after damaging his right thigh.
The reliable goal-getter will certainly miss this weekend's game against Udinese and the extent of the injury is yet to be ascertained.
Pandev has netted four times in the Italian Cup so far this term and has nine Serie A goals.
Lazio haven't won a trophy since 2004 when they last lifted the Cup but they beat Juventus in the semi-finals to set up a shot at silverwear.

Guess it is too early to say anything about his presence on Wednesday, and the fact that he will not be playing Udine on this weekens doesnt say anything. We will, and should, rest a fewof the guys for this one...

Pandev relief for Lazio Friday 8 May, 2009
Lazio fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the injury to striker Goran Pandev is less serious than initially feared.
The Macedonian international limped out of training yesterday after damaging his upper right leg.
With the Coppa Italia looming on May 13, the Biancocelesti had been worried that Pandev may miss out on the club's shot at silverware.
However, reports from Il Messaggero today suggest that the problem is merely a strained muscle and nothing to worry about.
Pandev is unlikely to feature against Udinese this weekend but he should be 100 per cent for the Final at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 25-year-old has scored 51 times in 134 appearances for Lazio since arriving from Inter in 2004.
Pandev's agent has claimed that some big clubs are tracking his client in search of a summer swoop.

I won't be too upset by Pandev leaving. He hasn't been himself this season and he reminds me of Cesar's performances back then.
In fact, this is the best scenario and 18.1m euros is a huge amount. We could use it to reinforce the team in many areas. Let's not forget the 21m to pay for Zarate.

i think it's time for pandev to leave. with 15m-20m from pandev's transfer , we can bring at least 1 or 2 good players in our squad ..

I would be sad to see him go but I do believe that it will happen and next season he will play elsewhere... I dont agree that he had a bad season... he had many assists and scored goals manly from him self because we all know Zarate type of play... Anyway I would wish him luck wherever he goes and to play even more better but never against Lazio or Manchester United

if Goche is really going please Lazio! selling him under 20mio would be a disaster!! I hope as all of you, Pandev would stay, but objectively (which is quite hard) I understand Goran if he wants to leave us for a more promising club.

A trade between Lazio and Juve should be considered. Pandev for Iaquinta plus some money would be perfect I think. I'd love to see Vincenzo in Lazio

It's over. Pandev have said it. He is leaving after 5 years at Lazio. He'll play his last game against Reggina, that is why the ticket prices will be lower then usual.
The economy is not the issue, Lotito has tried to give him new contract but the player have different thought in his head. The wish to be part Champions League competition is bigger then ever. Pandev decided to tell one year before the expiring of his contract so Lazio could have some benefit. There are many clubs involved. Most serious are hamburger, Totenham, Juventus, Bayern, Monaco and Fiorentna. Of course there are many more and we'll see where Pandev will chose to go.
Bye Pandev I'll miss you a lot, thx for all the beautiful moments

This is a very sad day. Watching Goran develop into a player he is today, from a young talent to a key player, he gave us his all.
Can anyone remember, in his debut game I think he wore a number 44 on his shirt, the announcer said "here comes young Pandev" and that phrase will remain with me forever. "Young Pandev"
You never heard him bitch or complain, he had a great partnership with Rocchi, he was also very good in combination with any of the other strikers including Paolo...
Incidentally, his last game at the Olimpico will be against the team he scored a hat-trick earlier this season.

If he leaves Lazio I dont see point to go to Tottenham (money excluded) because if his reason is playing in Champions league or winning a tropy its more believeble in Lazio.... Tottenham is maybe a good team but will never win a Premier league because Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal will never let Tottenham take anything... Hamburger is better option but I have always hate German league... Juventus on the other hand will be a great for his carier because they will play in Chapions league and Pandev can surely play in there first 11... Now playing for Tottenham is a very goot steping stone... Take Berbatov for example.. Now he plays for United... For me the best and the most organized club in the world... However I know that Lazio will cash it a lot from Pandev and as he was a profecional servent to the club and also a copatriot I would like for him to have a chance at least once to take a part in Champions league final

If he is actually leaving we need to stand up and give him a proper salut and honour him. This is a man that deserves all the respect. He never complained, and he always did his best. Add to that the fact that he is an honest bloke not pushing negotiatiuons to a point that would make us and him remember the last days as being only about money and a new contract...Grazie Goran!
Now, the last thing I would ask is that you leave for a team outside Italy, and you will forever be remembered in Lazio as a hero.

The question we need to ask, is Lazio too small for Pandev? I don't question his passion for us, he never complains about his wage, he always gives his best eventhough he wasn't 100% fit, he's been by far the best player we have for the past 3 years, and I would thank him for that..
But If we can't hold on to one of our best player, how can we compete to be one of the best in Italy, let alone Europe?? Losing Pandev wouldn't be the end of the world, but certainly a step back for Lazio, we could always find a replacement for him, but there's only one Goran Pandev
I am still hoping he stays..
Grazie Pandev

I'm hoping he doesn't go to another Serie A club, I had facing our ex-players, especially one that spent 5 years growing up in our shirt. I hope some how we can hold on to him, but I understand if he has to go to find Champions League football. Perhaps this would open up the chance for Mendicino.

I think the major issue is that Goran himself wants a change, and not that Lazio has become a too small club for him. He had the chance to top his carreer at Lazio with the Coppa victory, and he is loyal enough to leave now when we will still get some cash for him...
