I remember me walking into the security area of Yerevan airport just to greet Goran Pandev as a Laziale from the Macedonian national team. I remember how happy I was that day as until today he's the only Lazio player I have seen in real life. I went inside, and everyone was in red tops of Macedonia team. I got really worried as I couldn't find him, then I shouted "PANDEV", and an old man (proably an assistant coach) said "Later, later". What "Later", I said to myself. I was waiting for that moment for such a long time! Then, at the very end I saw him! Standing modestly next to the steps with his small bag, talking to no one. I ran towards him, and could see and hear the laughter of other Macedonia players. As I was in the Lazio shirt, I remember one of the players shouting "Lazio!". I saw Pandev, and because then I could hardly speak Italian and he didn't understand English, I limited myself with only several good words about him. I asked one of the other players of Macedonia national team to take a photo of me and Pandev, then with my hands shaking I finally managed to give to Pandev the marker with which he would sign my poster, LAZIOFEVER.COM written on it, just as Ermetico had instructed me to do.
After taking a couple of photos and getting his very own signature on my poster, I left, knowing that I've had one of the happiest days of my life. Next day although he scored 2 goals against my national team, I was in the stadium cheering for him. Such was my love towards Lazio and its players. That was back in 03.06.2005 - the day when I was sure that Pandev will always remain a Laziale and his poster with his very own signature on would always remain on my wall.

Supporters remain, whereas players always come and go. Grazie Pandev, stai bene dovunque sei!
