My last final is over and done with. It's surreal, I can't imagine how it will be come Saturday after graduation. It's hard to believe that I've been a student for 17 yrs or more and then, suddenly, I will no longer be.

Well done for graduating Treq! Does that mean you are done with studying forever? Or just for a while?
But yes I agree with you. It does seem unreal and hard to believe and I assume get used to.
I was thinking the same thing recently, and especially so as our University is having graduation week this entire week. I have a friend who is getting his engineering degree this Friday. Most of my friends and I are finishing up in the next year or two. I have all of this year to go and hoping all goes well and I pass all papers then that should be it for my under grad study and degree in psychology and management - so I would graduate this time next year. Off course I am looking at doing some post grad after wards though.

Same as Bobbi. It seems like no time ago that I was saying I was halfway through my degree and now i'm 2/3 of the way there.
When you know people getting their Masters, you feel old and then turning twenty makes you realise how quickly everything passes by.
With all that has happened to me in the past 2 years, my mother getting ill and miraculously surviving, me going to uni and the people I've met inspiring me that lil bit extra, I find it surreal that I could be back home next year living with my mother and grandmother as a university graduate. Or I could be in the same old town as a postgraduate. The two thoughts are strange.

It's a film degree. And yeah, I'm done studying for the foreseeable future. I suppose I can't completely rule out graduate work, but it's not in the plans at the moment. I'm gonna be moving out west this summer and just jumping feet first into the industry.
It's been an interesting year. I've tried to write down some memorable moments, just so I don't forget. It's overwhelming to think of the faces I'll probably never see again. The best relationships, you hold on to those, you'll see those out, but it's just the people I see routinely that get me the most. That's the real confirmation that school is over, when you get out of whatever your student routine is. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, but the last thing I want to do at this moment is walk across the stage and leave. I've spent four of the best years of my life in this place, how could I want to leave? I'm sure you guys know the feeling, just seems like everyone else can't wait to get the hell out of here.

Of course Treq. I've had so many experiences of that already. People that came here from your country and beyond who I became instantly attached to and struggle to keep in touch with. And yet, they mean as much to me as anyone and it's overwhelming to know only some ocean separates me from them.
Then you have those you know you are graduating like yourself and as the pressure has built on everyone, you lose them. You don't want to lose them forever but you see things going that way.
And even now, I see people disappearing abroad for a year and by the time they come back, I could be gone. And you begin to question why they're leaving you; although that's not the case, it feels like that in a sense.
University is a weird experience. I went into it with the weight of the world on my shoulders and it was a release. Now, uni is throwing the pressure upon me and I know I can't escape. I don't want to leave but sometimes, I don't even want to be here. There's no greater learning experience and I kind of wonder how those who miss the opportunity of studying beyond high school for whatever reason cope in life. I feel like I've completely changed and for the better at that.

It may be, I was trying to put a countdown clock like this one http://store.sslazio.it/ as my avatar, alas my limited computer knowledge failed my once more, then I had to find the exact same pic again for the avatar, guess this one is a bit bigger
Or maybe the fart alert has gone from code yellow to code red, you won't know until you're near me and it's too late

I still don't get how the translation is so bad, even if the game was rushed. How does time restraints f up translation that badly.

This will go down in the memory for a long time. Despite our poor position in the league, this season has brought me so much joy and is a stand out from the other recent seasons!

I agree Gio. Some fantastic displays and results this season. Despite sitting in at mid table in Serie A there has been a lot to be proud of and for me the season also stands out. Its true what they say - " supporting Lazio is a roller coaster!"
But I have enjoyed it as always!
The Coppa victory was unforgettable and beautiful, I still can't get over it - well worth missing 2 lectures for!

Saw that on theoffside, couldn't stop laughing. There's always great football related vids there.
Just gone 48 hours without food, mars bar and jelly tots is all I've had. Have an exam in 6 hours which I'm only starting to study for. I've had 3 mega assignments this week and the Coppa Italia. I can't wait to get this exam done and celebrate our win properly. I'm so exhausted mentally, I can't remember how much I've slept, as in, I don't know if I'm actually sleeping or resting. Can't get much worse...

Good luck Caxi!
Apart from the amazing Coppa, I've had such a boring week. Been doing all the PAYE returns for the deadline on the 19th. Problem is, they have to be electronically submitted through the HMRC website which keeps crashing due to the high volume of traffic. Means having to re-work alot of clients which makes me want to jam a pencil in my ear!

Exam turned out well, guessed the paper which always helps and I made detailed plans for once which should earn me colossal marks in one of the two questions.
I hate the Irish university system, exams last between 1 and 2 hours and each one is different. Sometimes you have a one hour exam where you have to get 4 or 5 months of information on paper in such a short space of time and then you have two hour exams to narrow down 4 or 5 months of study into a compact bundle of material on maybe 2 specific areas.
It's just pure pressure really. There's no thought process, everything has to flow freely.
Now I have 5 days off. Can go out tonight and celebrate our victory big style and then it's back to the books I'm afraid.
By the way, Good to see you back, NITRO!

I have watch and although I have very low opinion about Eurovision in my country is "big thing" considering we don't have some major festivals of our own. Not to mention our current music stage.
I don't know why Norway was so big favorite, their song was noting special. I like the Iceland girl.
