If i say to u that he is better than Vidic, would u be happy? He's a real gem of a player, plays as a central defender and can score goals after corners or fk's too... If we get him, i would be very happy. He is like lion on the field.

Zoran “Bambi” Tošić born in 1987 as an attacking midfielder or winger. He has a killer shot right and left foot. So far he had 12 matches for Serbia first team. In 46 apperances for Partizan he scored 14 goals. He is rdy for Man Utd..

Lazio swoop for Ivanovic Saturday 29 November, 2008 There are strong reports that Lazio have struck a deal to bring in Chelsea youngster Branislav Ivanovic in January. The 24-year-old Serb defender had already been heavily linked with Juventus and Milan over the summer, but has a new Serie A suitor. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the ‘big signing’ that President Claudio Lotito pledged for the mid-season transfer window is Ivanovic. Chelsea paid £9m to take him from Lokomotiv Moscow in January, but he has made just four appearances for the club. Unhappy at the lack of space, he is looking to be released on loan and Lazio would be a good place to prove himself. Ivanovic would be on the latest former Premiership player to wear the Biancocelesti jersey, as they already have ex-Birmingham City striker Mauro Zarate, former Manchester City midfielder Ousmane Dabo and one-time Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal. | omg Ivanovic? I must be dreaming he is one of my favourite defenders at this time, Bane is very versible, young, hard working, can play in every position at back, a good header also! even if only a loan a perfect signing cause we are at the moment weakest in defense.

| Ivanovic is achievable. I kind of got laughed at when I said this over the summer but it is obvious to me that this is the kind of deal Lotito likes to strike. Someone young, not in the first team but would be available on loan with a potential option clause.
The fact we are mates with Chelsea and not fighting them in the Champions League means we have the best chance to sign him, not Juve or Milan (because at the minute, Chelsea can still end up in the UEFA Cup I think).
So I see no reason why we can't do a deal. The question is, who is the other bomb? Bertolo? Doubt it. Mascherano? In Lotito's sick little head maybe but I'm expecting someone else so we will see.

| Makinwa Set For PAOK Switch? Lazio striker Ayodele Makinwa has been linked with a short-term loan to Greek club PAOK Salonika... Greek sports newspaper Goal has reported that the 25-year-old striker could be on his way to PAOK on a six-month loan deal in January, as he has struggled to tie down a first-team shirt at Lazio.
Earlier reports this season variously linked him with a move away from Lazio as he has yet to score in seven appearances for the Italian club.
The former Palermo striker has largely played a sparing role at fifth-placed Lazio after recovering from a knee injury that needed surgery.
He has also fallen out of favour with the Nigerian national team after yet another laboured display at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year.
>> Can't we just let him go on a free and be done with it? If he goes on loan then he comes back if he fails at another team. It's hard to believe he is still 25 though...

- Lazio look to Elano
Monday 8 December, 2008
Lazio may turn to Manchester City star Elano in an attempt to inject life into their flagging season.
The Biancocelesti were the revelation of the opening month of the season as they made an unexpectedly positive start to the campaign.
But a dismal League run that started with a derby defeat against Roma has hurt Lazio badly and Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Inter has left them seventh, in danger of being sucked into mid-table.
President Claudio Lotito is reportedly unhappy with the situation and is poised to enter the market in January to try and address the Aquile's slide.
There are reports on Lalaziosiamonoi.it that Lotito has identified Manchester City man Elano as the ideal solution to the problem.
The 27-year-old was a star man at Eastlands, but he seems to have fallen out with manager Mark Hughes.
Elano also holds an Italian passport, which would theoretically allow Lazio to add him to the ranks in January Would definitely be a great signing.

| When he is in bad form he is like Ledesma. When he is in good form he his better then Ledesma. If he has respect for our jersey and that he will give 100% every game? Only god knows.
Butt I don't know how serious too take this rumor. Let's see what Lotito and Tare can do this winter maraceto.

| Elano has little to no work rate which is why he is striggling to get in at Man City. He would simply add another problem to the mix when trying to fit our creative players, Pandev, Foggia and Zarate in to a line up that can also look solid. The guy is a talent but not what we need right now. | |
