We can't have em all Adrian At this moment, Matuzalem and Ledesma partnership give stability both offensive and defensive for Lazio, especially after the introduction of Matuzalem, Ledesma can focus more anchoring the midfield, while all the creativities comes from Matu, It reminds me about Winter-Di Matteo, Veron-Simeone or Jugovic-Venturin a while back.

I'm thinking for next season, we should get a decent right winger, Brocchi is imo too slow for a right winger, my pick would be Ignazio Abate from Torino, but if we qualified for Europe, why not trying for Elano Blummer? He was linked with us a while back, wasn't he?

or other option, play Manfredini more regularly

anyway i think rossi is not a trully 4-4-2 formation coach with 2 wings midfielder (right midfielder and left midfielder)
he used to like 3 holding midfielder and maybe 1 attacking midfielder..
Maybe this is a new era of 4-4-2..did u see Milan with seedorf,kaka,pirlo ? or Chelsea with essien,lampard,ballack...or maybe Barcelona with xavi,keita,iniesta/busquet ?
Many clubs now play with three holding midfielder...And i think Rossi is a 442 coach which is always places 3 holding midfielder such as ledesma,matuzalem,dabo..and foggia as the creator of midfielder..

But i hope this summer Lotito buy a new Defender..!! siviglia and cribari are getting old..we need some youngster wonderkid..

Hmmm...I would take Afellay but to get Van Bommel, who is 31 and a free transfer anyway, in a swap deal for Pandev is insane!

i gguess it would be signed before hand so that we get to finalise the offer before the summer arrives and he puits pen on paper with a different team. Van bommel is ok, but in a an awful deal inclusing pandev? no thanks.. Why dont we just offer him a decent contract at the end of the season.

If you ask me, I dont want to hear or read another rumor if its not about a decent center back.

We don't have to wait until the summer for him to sign the deal, he is a free agent now, just means he cant transfer until the summer. We should concentrate on the defence.

Afellay will not come to us chill :)

i can only say to viola:

affelay is ok , but i dont think he wants to join lazio if we dont qualify uefa cup for next season .
about van bommel , i think he's too old , he will be the next brocchi in our club .
why dont we bring augusto fernandez or sebastia battaglia?
are we still monitoring veron ?
and i dont wanna see pandev leave our club . if he should leave , we must get at least 25 M (affelay = 11M , pandev 2 times better than him ! ) and we have to find a striker who is as good as pandev (for example : giovinco , bojan , giuseppe rossi , or maybe saviola?)

Mark Van bommel has extended his contract with Bayern Munchen to summer 2010. He wants to stay there.

Primary target this mercato will be a right winger and Afellay is the one we want. £11mil is a bit steep but I'm sure Claudio can negotiate the fee down.

Defensive targets are Angeleri and Lugano. I think Lugano is back up for Cribari leaving and Angeleri will come in because I am 99% sure Siviglia will leave or Diakite will go on loan next season.

Don't mind selling Pandev for +15million euro. In all honesty, he is not world world class and we can cpe with Zarate, Rocchi and a cheaper alternative such as Floccari.

Maybe simeone is behind this as I before suggested and he will be our coach next season, just a maybe there.

Any news on Veron? Seems to be faiding away from Lazio now, and that really stinks.

I hope that's true. I think we could take a risk and go for Simeone.

but till lottito is our chief i think none of them came true, we must search for loan players from lower league

absolutely if i chance too see first Iranian player in our jersey i hope too see Javad Nekounam or Masoud Shojaie from osasouna next year

We must get centre backs this summer, that has to be priority number 1. That being said if we pick up Afellay that would be some coup. I hope we hold onto our star players, the players that the project is built around. It wont be easy to do that as Zarate and Pandev have many admirers, but they both are a long way off their peak as players and i want to see them reach their peak in the Lazio blue

Diego Lugano is the same age as Cribari. Emilson got a move to Italy when he was 17/18 because someone saw something in him.

Diego, on the otherhand, left Uruguay at 22 and went to Sao Paolo. He did well there, I acknowledge that but he has experience of defending in a very attacking league and now he's at Fenerbahce, an attack minded team in an attacking league.

We are an attack minded team but this is a defensive league and I question how he will adapt tactically to Serie A should he come. It would be a gamble for me just like Simeone as coach would be a gamble, just like Carrizo was a gamble or Matuzalem or Zarate.

I am sick of taking risks when they are unnecessary. There's talent in Italy, time to invest in that.

keeping cribari is a big more risk than taking lugano in my opinion... sorry caxi, i just don't really understand why are you and some people rating Cribari so highly...

well, he's really good sometimes, but some other times he's soo bad... what we need in a defender is consistency...

I have nothing against Lugano but I do agree with Caxi. A gamble. It may pay off, or it might not. If he takes a gamble I would rather see someone like Coloccini given it as someone mentioned. At least the guy has Spanish and English league experience.

I would prefer to see Lotito scout the Italian market for a proven, experienced and solid defender. I am not expecting him to lure Chiellini for example but I would prefer to get an all ready proven and adapted Serie A player. It will be interesting to see which 3 teams will go down this season. Hopefully some have good central defenders. Lotito could get some great bargains there if he acts fast and doesn't wait till the last minute like pretty much every season.

As for Van Bommel sweetening a proposed Pandev deal with Bayern.... screw that!
