I don't think he has been allowed to mature properly at Fiorentina. They tried to play as another Toni which he isn't, plus he hasn't played that regularly. I think if he was in our trident attack he'd be deadly, just like with the Azzurini.

i cant see a reason why pazzini would give up his chance to play in the CL next season and move to Lazio

Pazzini is good player but he dont know how to score

Zabaleta is great on PES. I am poor with Lazio on PES.

We are after Marco Motta again. Hopefully we get him, he'll be a good replacement for Behrami.

Lazio have no intention of making Rolando Bianchi's move to the Stadio Olimpico permanent, according to reports in Italy.

The 25-year-old striker joined Lazio on loan from Manchester City in January, but has not impressed enough to earn himself a transfer.

Bianchi scored four goals in 15 appearances for the Aquilotti, yet failed to replicate the form he showed at Reggina last season.

The former Italy Under-21 international attracted the attention of some of Italy and Europe's biggest clubs in 2007 after netting 19 times for the Calabrians.

Lazio's right to buy the hitman expires on June 15, at which time, if no offer is forthcoming, he will return to Manchester.

However, Bianchi is unlikely to remain in England for long, with German side Wolfsburg believed to be interested in his signature.

Fellow Italians Andrea Barzagli and Cristian Zaccardo have already joined the Bundesliga team in recent weeks.

Lazio just signed Nicola Amoruso from Reggina for 3.5 million.
I think that even if the player is 34 it is an optimal sign...a lot of experience and a goal scorer..

No, they're not stronger than us. They just have Volkswagen supporting them but that is nothing comparing to Lotito's support.


p.s. Good news about Amoruso. It's always good to have one experienced striker in squad. Rava's presence 10 years ago proved that theory.

Lazio to land Amoruso

Lazio have reportedly agreed a fee with Italian minnows Reggina for veteran striker Nicola Amoruso.

The 32-year-old was looking for a fresh challenge after being embroiled in another relegation battle and a switch to the capital seems to be on the horizon.

Reports in Italy this morning claim that the southern side have accepted a fee of £2.5m for the striker who was also being linked with Sampdoria.

Amoruso, the brother in law of Juventus captain Alex Del Piero, scored 12 goals in 33 games for the Amaranto this term as they somehow avoided the drop.

Amoruso has been targeted by the Biancocelesti after they opted to not complete the signing of Rolando Bianchi.

The latter, himself a former Reggina marksman, joined Lazio in January on loan after failing to settle in the Premiership with Manchester City.

Lazio were also reportedly interested in Fiorentina young gun Giampaolo Pazzini, but he’s set to remain in Florence.

To be honest I would choose Amoruso to Bianchi at this moment. For Amoruso we will pay 3.5 mil, but probably we will give Baronio in return so we will get him almost for free...He is 34, but he can play and score 10-15 goals per season another 1-2 years.
Bianchi scored 4 goals...and he costs 8.5 millions...with those money we better get Cigarini and Cavani...

No Lazio need quality players to move forward, not bargain spending

I would prefer to get Cigarini from Parma.

We wants Thuram from Barcelona, he's a very very good player (If we were in 1995), he's 36 years old central back, what are we? A garbage bin??

Still he has a lot of experience.
And he comes for free.
Again, I would welcome him...our defence has a lot of young players - Radu, Kolarov, De Silvestri, Artipoli, Diakite - who would better learn from Thuram than from Siviglia and Cribari...
I would take him with no regrets.
