our best game was when he played together with Radu in defence.

3,6M for a 27-year-old over 40-game Czech international starter sounds like a steal.

Why does he wear number 7 and play centre back. I suppose this is just because Lotito is an idiot. 7 should be a winger or striker.

IMO it is good to sign Rozehnal officially even though we still need at least 2 good central backs ATM.

What I think that both Cribari and Siviliga are clowns and flops within the heart of our defense, not to forget that Zauri is a totally limited player that don’t add anything new to us, those 3 players should be sold ASAP to another smaller sides clubs where they do belong.

Italians are always great in promoting great defenders and as long Lazio is an Italian club and we had a great history for being a main feeders to the Azzuri in the past by the likes of Nesta, Oddo, Pancaro and Negro. I would love to sign Canini who is a great talent playing for Cagliari, along side of promoting Tuia (who is called as the new Nesta) to the 1st team, and not to forget that Lorenzo is rapidly maturing and will become a major figure for Lazio and Italy together.

Thuram, may be the only old player that I would select from old players we are linked with currently, he still have some of his skills and would be great addition to our youth players, so the likes of Radu, Kolarov, De Silvestri, Diakhite and Tuia will definitely learn from Thuram broad experience instead of that of Cribari and Siviliga!

So in general, our defence will look like this:

Torino midfielder Simone Barone could be set for a move to Lazio or Fiorentina, but his agent insists that there have been no concrete offers.

The 30-year-old moved to the Granata from Palermo for £2.7m in August 2006 after playing a part in Italy’s World Cup triumph.

But now it seems that Barone is looking for a new challenge, with Lazio or Fiorentina expected to make a move.

“I hope the move to Lazio happens, but for now there has been no contact,” agent Silvano Martina told Tuttomercatoweb.

“The Biancocelesti would certainly be an ideal destination, but there are other interested parties.

“Fiorentina haven’t made a move. But it is clear that Barone, like all players, is considering the possibility of changing club.

“For now there are few real developments but lots of rumours.”

Barone was a good player with Parma only he is currently an old player, I wish if we could sign Dessena (Parma) or Marchisio (Juve) which is definetly better choices.

Apparently Lotito has signed some 18 year old Polish player.

I had watched him many times this year, he is quality player and of course is better than Muta and Manfradhino togather by levels not to forget that the Argentinian players are more than welcome to LAZIO

BTW: he is better than Pablo Ledesma of the Boca, and I am quite sure he will follow the steps of Matias Almeyda and Diego Simone in Lazio.

...we are once again linked to so many players.

I think last summer, there was around 200 names linked to us. I just want us to sign Radu now so we after the EC can concetrate on other players.

Purchase of Rozenhal rely satifies me, quality defender given way to many chances in the important matches of last season if you ask me. Cribari is a usefull player, siviglia I think is not at his best anymore. Preferably I think we need another quality centre back and a young talenten defender. Of course Radu can be an option for the center as well.

Rozehnal is a good signing. I think Cribari will do better this season with Carrizo behind him, makes such a difference when you have a world class keeper, he can make average defenders really organised.

i just hope u are right about zauri's status , i would prefer kolarov as a lift midfelder tho ..

And our beloved president Lotito promised three new signings this summer. To be honest, I heard this story last year. And two summers ago.. and three summers ago. And every year we end up with unknown players from Serie B. One of these three new players almost certainly will be young polish striker from Poland second division. Back to Pinzi transfer. He didn't have a good season, but i would welcome him with open arms. There aren't many laziales who can do something good for our team, but this player can. And he can replace Behrami..

I'm very curious regarding our transfers this summer.Every year Lotito says the same story,but at the end nothing...3 years in a row,he said the same story.And he was talking about a future plan,I think,where is it?!I know that he saved the club,but???Since he came we've started to be closer to relegation every season.
And regarding our transfers this summer,I don't believe in simple news.When I see a player our shirt on the pitch,then maybe...With Serie B players we can't resolve our problems!!!

Lazio president Claudio Lotito talked about the club's plans for next season and tried to instil some enthusiasm to a disappointed fanbase following a mediocre season and a lack of action in the transfer market.

"I will bring Lazio back to Europe, in four years I have already spent 75 million for the club and I valorised the club's patrimony," he said.

"Lazio don't need anything, I will remain alone at the head of the club. I have been trying to convince [Walter] Sabatini to come, for months I talked with [former goalkeeper Luca] Marchegiani but he didn't want to come. I'm trying to get former Lazio players into the club's structure."

On the next transfer moves, he said: "[Valon] Behrami will leave but we will receive at least six million euros. I will make three purchases, one for every role, aside from [David] Rozenhal, [Stefan] Radu, and [Pablo] Carrizo."

Behrami did not want to stay at Lazio ...if he did there was always a way.... Pandev is staying isn't he .... I hope Lotito keeps his word ...
