I think our lads enjoyed kicking some milano asses yesterday!! they would like to do it again on Saturday!

I am expecting at least a point .

The win against milan wasnt so convincing but i saw things are developing.
I hope Lichty isnt injured. But i cant see why Diakite cant come in....and the same goes to DeSilvestri. Not just come in but i want to see them in the starting 11th. Tnx to DS commitment we earend the equalizer.
I saw Meghni doing some stupid passes but he was quick and i saw he wants to win.
So if Manfredini, Mauri, Makinwa are watching the game from their home TV then they sould see 3 points there.

I reckon we'll do well cause Inter will come and actually try and play football, not like Lecce and Atalanta. We can do this, we need big performances from all 11 players especially Zarate, Pandev and Ledesma but we can do this.

Agree Zambrotta and Schjevtjenko and Ronaldinho and a lot of 1st players were on the field..... so I think Lazio did well, even Muslera was showing some confidence! Keep up this fighting spirit on saturday against Inter and keep out Manfredini

smelling as they were good and I have too say thank you too the players for doing a nice game aginast Milan, not only Mr Rossi.

Milan this season have lost almost all games when they played without Gattuso but it's true this wasn't a second string line-up. It probably lacked in motivation so we shouldn't get cocky.

I am not sure Inter will come to play football either, Mourinho is not exactly an attacknig minded coach and he should be well aware how much we suck when we have to create something in the final third when there is not much space open. I reckon they will be relatively cautious and try to exploit our fullbacks attacking mindedness to catch us on the break. I really hope Lichtsteiner can play so we reinforce the left flank as Maicon together with Zlatan is the most dangerous Inter player and if he has only Kolarov agaisnt him things might turn ugly. Or Kolarov and the ghost of Mauri...

Well after yesterday, I got a good feeling about this game, the morale must be high with the team, coach and fans, that Inter must be played down with the same weapons as yesterday, GRINTA & CUORE & SANGUE !

Have we got all players available for this game? How are things with Lichty?Any players with too many yellows?

I dont find us totally out of chance to collect at least one point as I saw a hungry Lazio last night. All I wonder is WHY do we go so much up and down in concentration, passion and energy??

very difficult game... play with Foggia,Pandev and Zarate as starters... dont field Mauri and Manfre and we might have a shot

Injury problems

Many worries for Delio Rossi before saturdays game against Inter. Stephen Lichtsteiner is in serious doubt after picking up a knee-injury against Milan and will race against time to be able to play saturday. David Rozehnal and Pasquale Foggia are down with the fever and did not train today. Also Goran Pandev rested due to problems with a thigh.

Sebastiano Siviglia is following his training schedule and so does Matuzalem, who could be called up for the bench, as he's expected to return to full training monday. Stefano Mauri picked up a knock during the training but should be ok for saturday.

Totally agree, hopefully Litch will be there as LM as it is a must! i dont want to see Manfradini or Mauri there by any means against Maicon! We should be concentrated, because Inter is not only Ibra and Maicon, even Cordoba and Muntari marked their names on the score sheets in recent games.

I think Rossi will give Radu rather than Kolarov the LB spot even though the former performances are the shadow of the last year, I am still hopeful that Radu will bring back last year perfomance against Inter's Mancio in next Satarday.

It is the time to bring back our sweet memories vs Inter that we were accustomed to beat in Rome and Milano, the last time we beat them in Rome was in season 03-04 with Mancini our coach, then we registered 3 draws and 1 defeat. Time to break the taboo Delio! Bring on the Nerrazurri.

One recommendation...Guys,relax..

One victory in the coppa against Milan has not made Lazio the best team in the universe...It's very normal to be optimistic for the upcoming match but expressions like "let's kick their asses" and "time to bring back our sweet memories vs Inter that we were accustomed to beat in Rome and Milano" can't be taken seriously...At least lets all try to be realistic...You are facing the top team in the standings with a 6 point lead over juve and milan,a team in great form at the moment after winning Napoli,juve and palermo followed by great performances..
A team much fresher than Lazio (we didn't have any mid-week game) with more experienced and better quality players who try to win the match till the last minute...

That time Pandev and Zarate are not facing Senderos,they're facing Serie A's most in form CB pair Cordoba-Samuel...We have only conceded one goal by the time Samuel got back from his injury and Cordoba's pace is far superior to Pandev's...Cambiasso-Muntari-Zanetti create a more physical midfield that the one of Ledesma-Debo-Brocchi and (withourt mentioning Zlatan at all) Julio Cruz is Inter's most reliable and effective striker and one of the most consistent forwards in Serie A all these years..(Adriano hasn't been called up for this match)..

Inter is not Cagliari or Chievo Verona..We're the reigning champions who have played the best football in Serie A and 100% deserve to be first in the standings..Let's all try to be realistic and (at least) respect the other team..

I am not afraid of Inter.

Only 2 players in that team scare me: Ibrahimovic (because he can score from anywhere, out of nothing) and Cambiasso (because he is the best and most effective out of any DM in football).

Ledesma can handle Muntari, our defence can handle the Inter attack but can Samuel and Cordoba handle our frontline? That's the big question.

We are more suited to Inter than we are Milan and even on paper, the Milan team on Wednesday night that we beat looks a lot worse than Inter's best eleven. So I'm optimistic and I have every reason to be.
