| One annoying thing is indeed the fact that a win for us would benefit teams I dislike a lot more than I dislike Inter. Luckily enough merda is not a competitor for the scudetto so far so no concerns about them gaining thanks to an Inter loss. Usually this becomes extra important in the spring leg (remember last year when roma was very close at some points..? I think it was the year before that that I even wanted us to give up three points in the game against Inter so that Inter would have an easier path to win the league and make sure merda would not...), so for today I put those thoughts aside and I am looking forward to an entertaining game and hopefully we could walk out victorious and make sure we continue being in the race for the fourth spot...
Today, no doubt, I want a win. I dislike mourinho and it would be nice to see him annoyed!
How does Rossi´s record look against milan, juve and inter? From what I can remember we have not been able to beat any of these teams under Rossi (and I am only concerned about the league games now...).We had like 16 years of not losing to inter at home before him...now it has been a while since we could fight stronger opponents...

As far as i`m concerned.. i don`t mind to have here even Roma fans. We`re not at war ..it`s a game. As for Inter fans..if you are supporting Lazio that much, you should probably know what relation is between Irr and Inter tiffosi in football history. If not, read Lazio history again.

| I'm expecting Delio to put on those he rested midweek. So, Brocchi, Mauri and Zarate will start I'm sure.
Foggia, De Silvestri, Diakite and Kolarov benched I would think.
I believe it was always Delio's intention to start Tommaso in this game but after Pandev/s Milan performance, he now has a tough choice.
Tridente could start as he may decide to rest Dabo too by slotting Mauri into the midfield.

It's not only Zlatan..He was non-existent against Napoli however we managed to be in total control of the match and created far too many chances for goal than the Napolitani..Besides,we also have Cruz, who is a far better finisher than Zlatan..Our Swede player sometimes scores extraordinary goals but misses the easiest chances..Our most reliable and effective goalscorer alll these years is Cruz...To me,he's our super-sub but today he's gonna start from the beginning...

| Unlucky Diakite, he is doing a good job, but what an unfortunate own goal. Up front we do not create much and inter has an optical advantage but a minor one in my opinion. We are not inferior to them at all. Now we have nothing to loose in the second half and can play all or nothing.

| Very strong physically Inter. We have little chances...
I didn't like Zarate in this first half , this egoistic style that he is embracing more and more is ruing everything positive he has done so far... Mauri is invisible in the middle.

| A decent first-half by Inter..Nice and calm play..
I think we deservedly lead the score by 2-0 and would have scored even more goals if Zlatan and Crespo were more careful in these occasions..
Defensively we're doing ok so far with Samuel marking Zarate well..Lazio's only remarkable chance of the game was that Pandev great move against Cordoba which led to a difficult Cambiasso clearance.. But guys, you can't beat Inter with shoots from 20 metres far..Dabo and Ledesma are quite good on long shoots but that's not good enough against a team like Inter..
Enough with that Crespo thing..Let him go to Sampdoria/Rioma/Real or whatever he wants..He's useless anyway and he only knows how to protest against Mourinho's decisions..He's crappy fo far and not helping our play at all..
Samuel,Muntari and Zanetti the best so far Inter but I'm sure Lazio will play much more offensively and carefully in the second half..
PS..Diakite's selection was a mistake IMO..In matches like these you have to use experienced players like Cribari and Siviglia...I'm not only refering to "Inter's" secong goal,so far he gas been playing extremely dirty on Zlatan..

| Actually the dirtiest player out there is Muntari.
2 weird goals, not surprising, first time 2 players marking Zlatan leaving Samuel open, second one slow reaction after the foul and a lot of bad luck.
Score b4 70th and sh1t's gonna hit the fan

| We are not even close to Inter, despite some unluck in the ways that their goals came. They have played against us as a seniior team would play a junior team, and there is not much we can do about it. Inter is just far to good, and on an ordinary day this is the way things end up...
I am very dissapointed with Carrizo, and I know there are others who think so as well. We waited one year for an average goalie to come? He has great potential, but so far this season he has not helped us much more than Muslera, or even ballota, would have done. He hasnt made one save yet that has made me think it would have been a goal if it wasnt for Carrizo. And I am not only trying to find a good excuse for our defeat today, but this is a feeling I have had for a while now and it never improves (neither does his performances). Let us see where this all will bring us, but soon merda has reached us in the table and there is no longer anything to be happy about when taking a look at the standings...
Guess Rossi has the games left until the winter break to get a few points, or we will have a new coach for the second half of the season. Apart from that, the most realistic way for us to reach Europe next season will be Coppa, so we need to take that tourney with highest seriousity.

| Eventhough inter was the better team they also did not create many clear goal scoring oppertunities. All there goals came from set pieces. Obviously they were the better team today, but the thing that killed the game for use today was their early goal and the huge mental dissapointment of inters second goal just before the break. I only hope Rossi keeps faith with Diakite, he seems to me a huge improvement alongside Rozehnal. | |
