What a turn around in the second half by Lazio.
Well done team and Rossi needs to be congratulated! A total transformation from the first half.... 3 goals, hit the post twice and created several other good chances - I think Lazio fully deserved their victory! Well done!!!!

I wasn't able to see the match, who basically save us, who had good game.

it was a nice game, we deserved the win ofcourse.. i saw Mauris goal and Rocchi's but missed Pandev's.. now i can sleep with a biiiiiig smile on my face!

What happened to Lollo he was very annoyed on the bench. Is he getting impressed from Zarate?

Zarate didn't look good at all.. he tried to dribble everyone then he lost the ball and tackled the player from behind and got himself a yellow card...

Great shot from dabo. It would have been a nice goal.

No matter what, our defence sucks badly. On top of that, we play Muslera despite being in a situation where we need to get Carrizo to get used to the team. I know that is the standard procedure, but I feel we should be taking coppa a little bit more seriously.

In my eyes, only Mauri and Pandev had good games. Pandev changed things around when he came on, giving us speed and creativity upfron, and Mauri did what he was suppossed to do in defence, had the brilliant pass for 1-1 and a crazy shot at 2-1. I am almost always defending Mauri, but in all honesty he has been very poor lately. Today I saw some happiness in his eyes and if he is motivated he is faaaaaaaaar better than Meghni. On Sunday Rossi should try to use this positivity and field him again.

Wonder how long Foggia will take being subbed in and out...

Ledesma's first half was the worst half so far this season. Best in the world last sunday - what will we get the coming one?

Not an impressive game at all, but we won and we are now in the semis....

How many in the stands tonight? Curva looked descent...and as always we could hear them sing all through...they are the best!

I think Zarate wants his goal. Its been a long time since he scored. I cant blame him for that. Without him we would be missing a lots of goals because he gaves the effective passes.
Muslera did very well. But its a shame the defenders took it too easy in the end.....Rosina could have bunished us very easely.
And before i said kill rossi and mauri....today i wont say it again. Lollo was really upset???
So next one will be Cagliari in the league and i hope Zarate scores.

What a different second half, we really turned on another gear, and it was a stylish win in the end.

The most important thing what changed from the first half was that we looked fired up after the break. Also Pandev-Foggia sub worked really well both because what Pandev brings on his own and also what he brings alongside Zarate and Rocchi. Of course it was Mauri who decided the game with that assist and brilliant goal, but Rocchi worked really well throughout the game.

Zarate wasn't too bad but he looks more and more frustrated of failing to score and it damages his game. If he could ease up, just like Pandev does, then he could be much better. Now sometimes he's trying too much difficult things when only an easy pass is needed.

Positive performances from Kolarov, Cribari, obviously Mauri of second half would be of good use to us. It's good to see Muslera making up for his mistake in the first goal with a couple of good saves. Others played decent overall but can do better. I believe De Silvestri is upset with himself more than anything else, same as Zarate is. Although Maurito some times goes way over the top in showing this, as he did in the Juve game. As for Foggia he was lively but nothing more than that, his crossing wasa awfull and he do anything with his right foot.

I think this game show we have a good depth in the squad and, for example, lining up a different defence or midfield doesn't make a big difference. On the other hand, we look to are quite dependent of Zarate-Rocchi-Pandev coming up with the goods (though as I was writing we seemed to have signed a striker!), while there is no one to take Ledesma's place.

It also seems that Delio takes Coppa Italia an important objective, thus the likes of Firmani and Inzaghi remained on the bench. Since it's going to be hard in Serie A and we have a favourable draw in the cup to play at home (and thankfully not against damned Inter, who's second string aren't much worse than our main side). Napoli/Juve are beatable at home and in the final at Olimpico we can take on anyone.

Coppa Italia here we come!

Hopefully now all the Rossi and Mauri bashing / insisting that Foggia is the next Maradona will stop.

This match showed that above else Lazio is only good when a team walks out onto the pitch not a set of 11 individuals.
Foggia's and Zarate's solo run's are becoming more and more annoying every passing day. On top of that one can't cross and the other can't pass to save his life.

Excellent decision by Rossi to play Pandev, not only because of the goal, but because of the great partnership he has with Rocchi, and his ability to cut inside the middle while Foggia is always on the touchline.

All three goals were splendid, we should have even been awarded a penalty, on the other hand Torino had some good chances to punish us for the awful mistakes in the midfield and again for some abysmal defending by Kolarov.

Just 3 more things:
1. Great to see Licht is already back on the pitch.
2. If it is possible, I heard a rumor somewhere, then buy Rosina immediately
3. As I hoped Rocchi scored and this will be great for his self-esteem and confidence, he needs to get back on the level we used to see him play

Guess a Coppa game will not stop the bashing, but you have a point and I agree.

Dont know how we would have to play, or who he would replace, but I would be so excited if Rosina was up for sale and we had a possibility of capturing him. That guy is a joy to watch, and also he has learnt how to use his skills in an effective way, something that our gifted dribblers also need to develop if they evere are to blossom to their maximum capacity...

Does anyone know what does Rocchi's gesture after scoring a goal mean?
