On De Silvestri: yes he has to improve, and yes Lichti is a gun, but honestly the guy is 20. At 19 he made Arjen Robben look like an amateur in front of 40,000 people. Plus the guy is like an idol, a chance to become the next big bandiera of the club.
Preziosi has said he asked Lotito for him, Lollo says he doesn't want another season on the bench. We can't give him an automatic starting place but we need to do everything to keep him.
Rosina? No thanks. The guy is an 'egoista', plays only for himself and as good as he is on the ball, he will never have what it takes to be a champion. C.testa, would you prefer Budan or Bianchi..if torino get relegated do you think he would be at a cut price?? Do you reckon Bianchi would ever make his way back to the club? Just think he would be a better option as a target man than Budan...Budan has been around the traps for too long.. Totally agree with Lorenzo staying at all costs....its abit of a catch! Lichti is IMO opinion the best bargain buy of the season - probably along with Milito for Genoa...but Lichti has been sensational...great piece of transfer from Lotito...have to give him that....Unfortunately that means Lollo cant be given a starting place...maybe if Lichti was RM and Lorenzo was RWB then that may work??? Hmm I think Rosina does have real quality...he needs to leave Torino...i do see what you mean about him playing for himself...but maybe that is because Torino isnt a great team and lack ALOT of quality...he feels he needs to 'take it himself'...i still think if he is available at a cut price why not pick him up?? but i doubt that Toro will let him go for a cut price...given that they couldve sold him for 15m plus in the good times...he hasnt really showed anything this season.. Any thoughts on who we should be targeting in the form of midfielders??

| Lazio has may problems, we al know that.
The way I see it, Lazio need a high quality defender for next season. Rozenhal, Cribari(most likely leaving) and Diakite are all good but we need someone that is real quality, some on that can form a strong partnership with one off these guys. Any suggestions.
Mine is Zapata.
Furthermore I dont see why lazio has 2 good players on the left and right wing of defence, when we r struggling in the center of the defence. SELL or trade one of thiese players in order to get a real centerback. Why not use Radu+cash to get Zapata. Just a suggestion.

| If Zarate doesn't stay, it's gone...everything is gone...Lazio will be gone...I will have 0 respect towards the whole Lazio director board and the team. No Zarate - No Lazio. He even said yesterday that he could stay for his whole life. Honestly, I don't think I could overcome the shock of seeing Zarate leave. | |

Honestly, I don't think I could overcome the shock of seeing Zarate leave. That are really hard words. Itīs true that it would be very hard if Zarate would leave. I believe that heīs staying with us. As a true laziale you can have 0 respect towards the lazio director, but you have to respect our team every time - also in a hard time. So when you say - no Zarate - no Lazio, you are not a real laziale. Sorry..., but I canīt accept this...

Sorry..., but I canīt accept this... Zarate IS Lazio. Lazio would've been maybe 16th or 17th without him, and certainly wouldn't have won the Coppa Italia. Zarate is everything. If he keeps playing for his whole life at Lazio, Zarate will be the number 1 legend of Lazio's history. For me, Zarate is all Lazio has at the moment.

Haha, only for next season? Try next 10 seasons. That would be more realistic. If Inter fans say "No Ibrahimovic - No Inter", then I guess the slogan "No Zarate - No Lazio" is even stronger. I just don't know how to express my affection and respect towards Zarate, guys. Him at Lazio is like a miracle. If Lotito lets him go, I don't know how much time I'll need to get over it, honestly...I'm so afraid of him leaving...

| If Zarate leaves, it will be a tragedy...but remember, Lazio reached the Champions League groups without Zarate...it will be hard, but Lazio is a team...NO ZARATE - NO LAZIO is just a way of showing our affection, but Lazio will still go on if he leaves...i just hope we don't buy more romanian players | |

| Crespo signed with Genoa !!!
I will admit Genoa played it well with inter, now they a good starting eleven + great subs
It will be a difficult year for lazio next season if we dont do any good signings !!! regardless if pandev , ledesma, matuzalem or even azarate leaves, we will be screwed !

| This transfer mercato is really important. Pandev, Ledesma and Lollo have contracts to 2010 and must be extend. Plus I still don't know why Lazio is waiting so much to get Zarate. Kolarov can become great and we mustn't let him go. I mean when I see all of this I really don't know what is Lotitos project.
I'll be happy enough if we keep the players.

- LAZIO GO FOR DERDIYOK
In great secrecy, the biancocelesti are working to sign the talented Swiss striker to form an explosive partnership with Zarate. Lotito think about the centre-forward of Basel, but there is competition from Bayer Leverkusen.
Eren Derdiyok is the name Lazio are following in secret. A purchase that will be difficult to achieve, because German club Bayer Leverkusen have an option. But he would be a big hit with Zarate and form a strike partnership among the strongest in Europe.
Centre-forward of Basel, Eren Derdiyok, 21 next month, has dual nationality thanks to his Swiss mother and a Turkish father. A beast in the penalty area, Derdiyok is 1.90 high and weighs 78 kg, but moves like a 'prima punta' with a dynamic sense of depth, progression, has good technique and is excellent in the air.
His contract expires in summer 2010 and will leave Basel in June. Even Chelsea is following him. Bayer boss Voeller does not have an agreement with the Swiss club and Lazio is trying to enter negotiations.
In the Swiss league, he has scored 9 goals in 24 matches. Derdiyok scored a goal at Wembley on his national team debut against Capello's England. He is considered among the best under 21 talents around Europe. Seven goals in just five appearances for him in the under 21s, a goal in eight appearances in the senior Swiss national team. Derdiyok is receiving offers from around Europe.
Fonte: Il Corriere dello Sport
** translated from lazialita.it ** Sounds like he'd be a great signing, exact type of striker we need to partner Zarate. Maybe even a tridente would work if we had a true centravanti like him. If we lose Pandev which I'm already resigned to, this is the exact type of signing we need to make. Forget Budan, forget Bianchi, this guy is the one we need.

A great strong tall central defender who can also score, wake up SSL! He was rumoured to us last summer and as far as i can remember we all agreed that he is noot good enough for Lazio, just another Rozehnal.

I'm for Eren Derdiyok. He is young, tall, and maybe our new Iaquinta. Fuck budan or bianci. When Lazio will forget to mention mediocre players like this ones.

| Onyewu is a great player. He is strong and 1 class above our current defenders (maybe only Rozehnal is better than him). I would love to see him with the Lazio shirt but there's still no info of an interest by the club ...
Aquafresca would be a dream! I love this guy. He is young and really talented and would replace Goran perfectly. Derdiyok is also a good talent and has made some really good games recently in the national team and I would welcome him with a smile.
