So all credit should not just go to one person, but the whole of lazio scouts, manager, owner Did he not resign because of the failings in the mercato 2 summers ago? Am I thinking of someone else?

| You are right Gio, he went in June 2008 and joined Palermo on the 7th July. It was due to the problems with not getting JPC and strengthening enough for the Champions League. On Wiki it gives this list of players that he has "discovered or given(?!)" - Marcello Castellini Gennaro Gattuso Federico Giunti Marco Di Vaio Alessandro Nesta Riccardo Zampagna Fabio Bazzani Tommaso Rocchi Goran Pandev Valon Behrami Lorenzo De Silvestri Pasquale Foggia Michel Morganella Abel Hernández I don't get how he discovered Nesta or Dia Vaio when he didn't join us until 2004, or maybe something was lost in translation! | |

So all credit should not just go to one person, but the whole of lazio scouts, manager, owner i know. but lotito is the man who decides to sign a player or not. the scouts just offer possible signings. it's thanks to lotito's good financial approach we are able to have player like zarate... And or 2 best players from last season came to lazio when sabatini was already gone: lichtsteiner and zarate

| Tuttomercatoweb belive's Fiorentina are in talk's with the agent of Lorenzo De Silvertri. Hope Not! Also heard a wierd story on the same site that we are interested in taking Luciano Zauri back? Hope not Kolorov is a much better player, with huge potential. | |

| The thing is that fiorentina is not interested in keeping Zauri, so we must take him back and either keep him or find a new destination for Luciano.
Each day it seems as if new clubs are approaching Lorenzo. Lotito needs to settle a new, good, deal for him asap to make sure no other team gives him a deal he just cant refuse...

| If you want Lorenzo to stay then you must hope that Lotito doesnt extend rossi's contract
Lorenzo said that he doesnt want to be benched next season right? well if Rossi stays then the possibility of his departure will be getting bigger.. because Rossi was the one that made him sitting on the bench (and failed to convice Lorenzo or the other players that sitting on the bench is not some kind of dissaster). Same situation would have happened to other players such as Cribari or Carrizo (even though I don't really care with those last two)

| Laziale or not, Lorenzo has to face the fact that at this moment there is a player who deserves the starting role more than he does, and that the only way to get to play for Lazio is playing abilities and performance on the pitch, otherwise we could get 11 of the die-hard Curva Nord laziali, throw them on the pitch and see them go 0-38 in the league.
I don't want him to leave but his lazialita alone will not earn him a place in the lineup. Work harder Lorenzo!! Best of luck!!!

We could be looking at playing Zauri as a CB as his career comes to a close. He played there a few times but I would prefer a natural CB but you never know what Lotito has planned.

| It would be really cool to see someone like scholes at Lazio next season. Scholes is perfect for the italian game and his days at united are drawing to an end. I´m just saying :) | |

| Pavel Nedved has announced he is leaving Juventus, but not necessarily retiring from football. “It’s time to say goodbye.”
The Juventus midfielder turns 37 in August and the club had tried to change his mind the same way they did a year ago, when he had threatened to retire.
A new contract was offered, but meetings at the headquarters last night and again this morning failed to reach a consensus.
“After eight years at Juventus the time has come to say goodbye and thank all the fans, teammates and the club for all the support I have received in this time.
“I won four Scudetti and the Ballon d’Or in Turin. I particularly want to thank my wife Ivana and our children, who have accompanied me during this extraordinary journey. From Monday onwards, I will think about my future.
“I will continue to feel close to Juventus and I’m particularly grateful to the Agnelli family for giving me the opportunity to play for this great club. I can assure you economic reasons had nothing to do with this decision.”
It is curious that the Czech is leaving Juve, but not necessarily hanging up his boots for good, as confirmed by his agent.
“For now we say goodbye to Juve, a decision that was already very difficult,” noted Mino Raiola on Sky Italia.
“From Monday we will think about the future. Sunday will be his last game in the Bianconeri shirt.
“I have already received many requests from Italy and abroad. We never asked Juventus for guarantees on tactics, players or a future as a director.”
Nedved began his career at Sparta Prague in 1992, moving on to Lazio in 1996 and then Juventus in 2001.
f**k Scholes, it could be nice to see Pavel for one last season

| Nedved's agent was asked about a return to Lazio, he says "La Lazio? Non commento".
Interesting. How good would it be, just for nostaglia's sake to see Veron and/or Nedved back.
Although I doubt Lotito will be tempted, the man is no laziale. Wouldn't be good for the 'project' either.

| I do believe Nedved still have a year or two in professional football, bringing him back to Rome would be a dream come true for me (and also for many others).
Laziale or not, well I must say, Nedved is one of those player who gives 110% on the pitch. If we were looking for an experience player, then we should look no others than Nedved. Although his return is pretty much unlikely imo

Pezzo di merda! I think its pretty ridiculous that anyone would speak of nedved in that way.. 5 seasons with lazio where he won so much..excelled as a player... lazio were forced to get rid of so many of that great group...nesta,veron,crespo,stankovic etc etc thanks to the cragnotti era... singling out Nedved is a ridiculous and disrespectful way to see off such a champion of our club and the world..

| Nedved is a legend. He worked hard for our club. Show some respect. Do not think we are all angels and footballers are devils. This is unacceptable behaviour. Some people in here are ignorant. Take a look: http://www.joost.com/059ofoy/t/Goal-no-188-Nedved-Lazio-Real-Mallorca-2-1#id=059ofoyHave people forgotten. You people who complain are pathetic. I would welcome him in open arms. He was a great player for us. I hear mazzari has quit sampdoria. Lotito should be happy as he has been banging on about him | |

Mate, you were not around to support Nedved when he started to play for us. So whatever you say, we take it for a pinch of salt. He played for us since 1996. I remember him well like the rest of us. Well, it looks like Nedved has retired. I wish him all the best and hope he has a wonderful family life and a new successful career.
