Lazio's Argentine midfielder Christian Ledesma has been transfer listed by the club's chairman Claudio Lotito, but there are no official offers for him from other clubs. Now he could end up remaining and has told La Gazzetta dello Sport : "Despite the fact that I have been transfer listed and I'm currently not playing, I would like to remain and renew my contract with Lazio. I have asked Lotito to talk about this".

its true that lugano dont have the seria-a expirience,but what kind of expirience (what quality level of their expirience)have diakite(i will keep him-he could be a good,but he is not the leader in defence,playing near the good defence partner he could be very good,and our choise for a lot of years,sivigla-just an example of his defence : trying to blocked the plaeyrs to dont dribls him in 16m-everyone shots in that position-so what level of the expirience is this,stendardo-to much contacts whith the players,in a lot of times whithout the reason,you dont now do we need to be afraid when he marks someone or when he have the ball.cribari-one good game than...(season after season),radu-also we didnt see him as a CD-so we can not say that he "have the expirience in that position",thats why for me lugano is the great choise,CL-expirience,national sides expirience,leader in fenerbahqe for the years(not the games)...,also one thing :even if he couldnt make to find himeself in serie-a we can sale him whithout a problem (if nobody wants him he can go back in fenerbahqe-he is the heroe there),where can(can we)sale our others defence players easily ?.

It must either be due to the excessive load of turks entering his web page or it might have been attacked.

I'm not too surprised, the media got it wrong again but I was always pessimistic for one reason.

Juan Figer is the agent of Diego Lugano. He made his money by brokering many South Americans to...Fenerbahce. Alex, Edu Dracena, Lugano etc. etc. The list is endless. He was even involved in Robinho's move to Man City and Figo's move to Madrid. Such is his calibre as an agent.

With hindsight, the fact Lotito thought he could match the sort of fees this guy is used to earning from these deals is laughable.

Figer used Lazio to extract more money out of Fener and it worked. Case closed, now let's move on.

I am pretty disappointed. Yes there is still 2 weeks left to sign players, but I cant believe we are getting anyone better than Lugano now. Hopefully I am wronrg. I am sick and tired to watch Siviglia making mistakes for another season.

Its easier to let Siviglia out of the game and play with 10 men on field...with baronio its going to be 9 men....this doesent sound so good....

why we still not buying defender...why is still waiting the last moment that cheap ass...isn't learn something from the Champion League scenario...also i think that we need great midfilder and not some mediocre midfilders like we have...

if inter realy wanted pandev(like was some roumors that they will sign him next june)maybe they will use this situation-take goran give use materazzi and some money(money ?),sadly we dont have to many choises.just to finished this

DAMN YOU TARE. Worst sporting director in the world. When we need a defender he lose all of them. Plus as a sporting director I think he have responsibilities in our own team and yet there is chaos in Lazio.

I'm very angry about our mercato this year. Didn't resolve the situation with disidenti, lose all defenders on the market. Overall our management is one BIG JOKE.

Whilst I am fairly angry aswell with the lack of pursuit for good quality defenders like Lugano who would easily slot into our problem area in the team...

There is still 2 weeks left..Lets have some hope..

The most annoying thing is that we wait until the very last minute to try and fix problem areas in the team...Its not good enough..I understand that players like Pandev,LDS and Ledesma have made this so hard to plan for the upcoming season, but we choose to strike too late on in the mercato when we know how long it can take to bring players in! best example is JPC...

I have faith they will do the right thing over the next 2 weeks but I am not expecting anything..

Best move for the off season was to sign Zarate and they did it..so thats a big plus..

The other best move was to get Ballardini....and also to win the Super Coppa...

Lets be happy with that..we still have a good squad...but would be good to sort out the dissidenti as a main priority..

Maybe they believe Diakite can step up? Maybe they don't want to get rid of Cribari? I really don't know...

Gutted about the Lugano saga.

Only consilation is that he hasnt signed for a Serie-A Rival.

I know everyone is frustrated but we probably shouldn't be.

Nearly everyone here thinks we need one defender and one midfielder. The club agrees. Currently, they are trying to secure a defender because if Ledesma does stay then the midfield is not as much of a problem. Reading between the lines after reading what is now thousands of articles, Simplicio is on the cards if we do sell Ledesma. That's what I personally feel. And as part of that deal, Palermo would want Radu; which is why we tried to land Bengtsson and are looking at Rodriguez in my opinion.

People are disappointed at losing Lugano, I am too in a sense but that's the way it goes sometimes. I genuinely believe Tare when he says Lugano was not the objective; I think he was a back-up and there's someone else in mind. Materazzi? I doubt it. Dainelli? Probable. Canini? I'd say he's probably on the shortlist.

We have two weeks and we only need, as of now, to sign one player and sell many others. We are in no rush, that can all be done in two weeks. Not a problem.

Deeply worried about our defence now though.

Unless we can get in a decent Centre Back shortly.

Who ever we do bring in, wont be as good as Lugano. Thats a fact.

But as someone pointed out, another year of Cribari & Siviglia at CB is not good enough.

Would be a shame on the club.
