On that topic, we are always discussing transfers of players and rumours surrounding them, but what about any rumours as to who might be the next DS seeing as how Tare is failing in that job massively. I just read some article on goal.com about us trying to lure Petrachi from Pisa.

I don't know anything about these type of deals but I think that you also have to think about transfer fees and contracts when signing sporting diretors no? Best example I can think of is Peter Kenyon (different role, similar situation).

I really really don't think Tare has any "pull" in the football world, he was never more than an average football player.

I disagree. I think he has about as much "pull" as you can have in the current regime.

I'd imagine many players who negotiate with us do so with a negative view sadly. With Igli in charge of proceedings, he can show that he cares about the club enough to play and work here. For a fellow player, that equates to something.

The problem is, a bit of "pull" is all that's going for him...

What I meant by "pull" is being well respected in the football community for your achievements on and off the pitch, having a great understanding of the game (again on and off the pitch), charisma, business sense and necessary contacts with the right people along with a mutually respectful relation with the agents and player management agencies.

and that's exactly what Tare lacks...he can seal the deal with players on the most basic of levels but that's about it.

According to Il Tempo, we have an agreement with Gremio for Rever.Its going to be a loan with a option to purchase him at the end of the season(for 5 million).

-objective for January:two defenders,midfielder and a striker
-Kristijan Ipša(2nd objective for defence)
-we are also interested in Bocchetti(Genoa) and Valdez(Reggina)

We will be selling too.

I expect Cribari or Radu to be used as bait for Simplicio. Zamps is already talking up Fabio and saying he will remain for years to come because he knows we are going to come knocking yet again.

Defenders will come in cheap (loans, probably) and so Valdez should become a big target.

Striker will depend on how much we may or may not get for the Goran.

Bocchetti would be a great signing but one I very much doubt - he is at an ambitious club who are unlikely to sell and has made it into the Azzurri squad.
I wish we would quit with being linked to Simplicio, the guy is getting past it and is on the way to being usurped by Pastore now. If we take him we get a player who is not going to be good enough for a side we should at the very least be level with. All the signs point to him staying in my opinion.
Didn't Rever state he was staying put for at least a year? Wouldn't be suprised if this one drags on and on until next summer...

I guess the Miranda rumour has passed, would have loved to have seen him with us.

Denis Kolodin at Dynamo Moscow could be a solution? Great CB, solid as a rock at a woeful Dynamo team.

It seems we have taken an 18 year-old Nigerian striker on trial, Seyi Adekele, and although he is expected to feature in our youth ranks, there are suggestions that he could be a first-teamer in no time.

Any info on this kid?

Couldn't find anything about Adekele but he sounds like just what we need - Makijunior!
Seriously though, it seems very unlikely he will graduate to the first team anytime soon I would think. Barretto and maybe Kozak and Mendicino after their loans expire would likely be ahead of him for the time being.
