LOL. this had nothing to do with tactics, they scored before the game really started, and then Baronio got a wrong red card... how could we be prepared for that?!

| Foggia was awful and has been all season. I now understand why he is sitting on the bench so much, the guy dosen't do any good to the team. And we gave away Lorenzo for Licht? My Good, how stupid we are. Lotito where are you little rat? | |

| Yes, but he has been a shadow comparetd to last season. He must feel pretty sure about his place in the team as he have no real competition since LDS was forced out. Licht can't cross a single ball in the penalty area, what does he train all those hours at Formello? | |

when you see your team mates play like sh1t and not giving 100% what is your motivation to play? plus he can have a bad game once in a while although i don't see why to consider this game a bad one... he didn't attack like always but that was because of the red card

| The thing is I know for sure these players can do better because they showed it in the passed. What's happening right now is a 70% case of mental status. At least that's what I think. | |

| More excuses perhaps? http://www.football-italia.net/nov5y.htmlLazio announce UEFA appeal Thursday 5 November, 2009 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lazio have announced they will lodge an appeal to UEFA against Villarreal. “They locked us out of the stadium.” The Biancocelesti were defeated 4-1 at the Madrigal this evening in a game that saw two players sent off and Pasquale Foggia miss a penalty. “We will not speak after this scandal,” slammed Lazio Press Officer Stefano De Martino when Davide Ballardini refused to meet with the media. “We are staying silent and are currently locked in a room with the UEFA representatives to write an official appeal. “From the moment we arrived in Spain we have been stopped from doing our job. Personally, as Press Officer, I was barred from working and even entering the stadium. “The Spanish security services left me and the kit staff outside. Seeing as we have not been allowed to work, we will lodge an appeal to UEFA.” | |

| I agree that the result is really sh*t and does not help us quality at all (especially as fucking RB got ANOTHER late, late goal against Levski in Sofia in the 92nd minute with literally less than 20 seconds to go!). Some of these comments are a bit harsh though IMO. Tonight was really bad but also left many what ifs and maybes. Had Lazio taken some of their chances then we could have had a completely different outcome. Had Rocchi scored in the 40th second of the match then I bet the match and result would have been different - but instead a minute later Pires puts the ball past Bizzarri from maybe 30-40 metres (again bad defending and keeping). Baronio gets a non-existant red card (I really hope Llorente is injured following him trying to stop Kolarov - what a prick) and the ref handed out yellow cards to Lazio like fucking birthday invitations. From then on it was really always going to be down hill for Lazio with 10 men. Their 1st penalty was pretty questionable IMO but nonetheless the ref gave it. The ref was a complete and utter wanker. I can't remember the last time a ref was so blatantly bad it was unbelievable. Foggia's penalty could have been really, really useful, and especially with 10 minutes left before halftime to boost the teams confidence. Damn. Why didn't Rocchi take it? Second half was better but unfortunately only 1 goal was scored even though there were several good chances. Overall the defending was sh*t but its hard to put the blame entirely on that considering Lazio played with 10 men from the 4th minute onwards. Can't the club protest Baronio's card or something? The fire power was pretty trap as well. I though Radu did pretty well though, and Eliseu to an extent. As for the tactics Ballardini made I'm still not too sure what to think of them. Bringing on Zarate and Kolarov was a good idea but should have been put on earlier. When Makinwa came on I didn't know what to think. First appearance of the season. At least the guy is pretty quick and pacey. I'm really disappointed and annoyed with the result, not so much the performance though (although I'm not saying it was brilliant either). No one really had a good game but there were players that were trying hard to get something going. Sadly most of the team wasn't up to the task again. The ref unfortunately had a big part to play but its not entirely him. Don't know what to make of it all. Lazio's situation is getting worse every week and we have Milan in a few days time. As for the Europa League, its not looking good either. RB need 1 more point I think from their next 2 games. Villarreal now have a better head to head record with Lazio. We aren't out, but we certainly aren't in. For Lazio to have any chance of progressing - firstly the game in Austria must be won which won't be straight forward. | |

| When I saw yesterday the first eleven which were nominated by Ballardini, I knew that we would loose.
Ballardini also said in an interview before, that the Italian teams have also look to the Serie A. From that point it was clear, that there is only the focus on Serie A match against Milan and not the EL.
Next round we will also see on the field NOT our first eleven, because the game after - it´s the Derby. We don´t take this competition serioulsy.
The players are not prepared to play 2 matches in one week. That´s sad, because they are professionals who get million times more money than myself in my job.
I´m praying to god for only one thing. Please - never get qualified for Europe League again! If we want to qualify for international competition, than ONLY Champions League. There is more money and the whole team (president, coach, players) would do much more for this.
Please - no Europe League again.
