Makinwa is a non-european player and Ederson also. So we have to get rid of Makinwa.

It´s good that we have already got 2 new players for the midfield. If we can get Ederson, doesn´t matter for me. If we get him - it´s good, if he´s not coming - i can live with it. I would prefer a defender.

The same for Ledesma. It would be good if we get money for him, but Lotito is right (can´t belive that I´m saying this) when he´s asking for the right price because Ledesma has contract till 2011. I would also be satisified if Ledesma would be training alone for a long time.

If the current situation is still the same like today´s evening, then I would prefer this formation:

Muslera

Lichti - Diakite/Stendardo - Radu - Kolarov

Brocchi - Hitzlsperger - Matuzalem

Golasa

Zarate - Floccari/Rocchi

Makinwa has nothing to do with signing Ederson, there is a limit that you can sign only 2/3 foreigners a year, selling a foreigner won't add anything to the limit.

If we don't let Ledesma go now, we'll loose him for penuts next June, he's for sure going to take Article 17 and leave to a foreign team. So Lotito must wake up!

I know this, but leaving on art. 17 is not a free on. It´s less, but not free. As I said - it´s better when he leaves now, but I'm also happy if he have to train alone till June or longer.

Apparently Andre Dias is in Rome already. I'm scared this guy will just be another Cribari.

He's non-EU so we can say goodbye to Ederson, unless we send Makinwa to Qatar.

Lotito wants Eric Djemba-Djemba to replace Baronio. Honestly, I'd rather Baronio.

I prefer having 8.5m euros and a talented youngster while Ledesma is rotting on Inter's bench he's no Cambiasso!

And Eyal Golasa apparently has no professional contract with Maccabi. This is why we can sign him even though he's non-EU.

Maccabi dispute this and say they have an agreement with the player. Could go to court but we're submitting his contract today.

He is another Cribari.. god what have changed from Signing Metzelder to then change your mind and sign Andre Dias

Who the hell is Djemba Djema.. the alternative to Ederson.. He's much worse than Baronio!

It means we should offload Makinwa only abroad to get Ederson or Dias.

Even worse, looks like we are going to be stuck with Eguren, even though he can't play.

And that wastes a non-EU place.

Portsmouth is in a very difficult financial situation, they couldn't afford to buy a player, we should try to offload/loan some of our players to them. They gain a lot of experience, we don't waste our EU spot, it's a win win solution for both clubs

As for Ederson, it's becoming very unlikely for him to play for us, I have been so exciting about his transfer as I was 10 years ago during Cragnotti's era.. Sadly, I don't think it will happen..

Quite good! I think AC Milan wanted him 1 year ago ? He is 32 years old but I think that he's a class player and will make our defence much better!

Biava... a 32 year old with a lot of experience in Serie A playing for Palemo and Genoa. I'm not too excited.

I don't think he's anything special but this means we'll see less Siviglia and Siviglia's contract expires in June and we probably won't extend it.

Lazio have completed the signing of Giuseppe Biava from Genoa, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 32-year-old centre-back is the Biancocelesti's third signing of the January transfer window after Thomas Hitzlsperger and Sergio Floccari.

Lazio don't even have a stand at the Ata Quark Hotel in Milan where transfer negotiations generally take place for Italian clubs.

However, Il Corriere dello Sport understand Claudio Lotito met with Genoa officials at the Hotel Gallia and managed to strike a deal.

Biava has been a regular for Genoa ever since his move from Palermo in 2008. He made 28 appearances last season and has started on 17 occasions in 2009-10.
