So we're looking at a new tridente consisting of, Martinez, Floccari, Zarate/Rocchi... that seems to be quite :O.
Behind them we would have at the moment Kolarov, Ledesma, Matuzalem/Brocchi, Lichsteiner.
Defence: Muslera, Dias, Stendardo, Radu.
Now thats what I call a good team :P

I highly doubt it. For an unknown 15m are just too much.

Martinez would be a good signing, but 15 millions € might be too much. And what about he's unknown? He had a brilliant season, scoring against us for example.

Played very well for Catania this season. Technically very gifted and an excellent finisher. His goal against Inter in Catania's 3-1 win was evidence of that. Not too many get past Lucio this easily.

Yep, it's 8m and he is a class act, that's why Juve were after him too but they opted for Pepe, good for us!

Juve are still after him...
and I wouldn't question his value.
Anyway, anyone who scores this goal is welcome to wear the Lazio shirt

He's not a one season wonder, he's been in Serie A for 3 seasons. He was the last player cut from Uruguay's World Cup squad. He scores goals and creates them. He can play behind the strikers or on the outside of a 3 man attack.
This is the exact type of player we badly need to sign. We struggled to score all season, but if you have Martinez and Zarate in the same side, with Floccari leading the line we have no excuses.

Martinez would add class to our team, and at that price we are not paying too much(8 mil pound = 9.5 mil euro). Just consider that we paid 8 mil euro for matu, and now we get a better option in attack, from a guy that had a brilliant season as long as Catania actually had something to play for. But has he got a European passport?
River are trying their best to get Carrizo back, but it seems as if Carrizo himself prefers staying in Europe.
Gignac is still an option for us; dont ask me why we would want to bring him in...
No good offers for Cribari and Zauri has been sent back to Lazio and is again a part of our squad for real.
Bogliacino seems to be close to signing with us. 30 years and mediocre, but I guess Reja knows this guy well..?
This week could mean a massive change for the squad, as Foggia, Makinwa, Kolarov and Firmani could all be heading to new teams.
Brocchi is negotitating for another year; wasnt he tied up until 2011 already? I am pretty sure he signed more than a one year deal when he came last summer...

our beloved president:
"After that Catania Chief Executive Pietro Lo Monaco has told Lazio to hurry up for Jorge Martinez, the roman club president Claudio Lotito has declared: "It's normal that Lo Monaco talks about something that concerns one of his players, but we are tranquil and we know how to act in such a situation"."
WTF!!

Mate, they always find their way back! I wouldn't be surprised if Ballotta returns between the sticks!

He was in the squad of 26 (or however many they got down to) but was the left out of the 23 in favour of Abreu and Cavani.

Ballotta must be almost 50. He would be a great moral boost for the rest of the team(irony). He could give some good advide how to stay on the feet( maurifuck) or how to be more useful then just running around like a headless chicken (baronios, makpizzwa, matuzalem, scaloni, cribari, siviglia, zauri, manfeass...............)
Anway seems to be a "Back to Serie-B" seaon knocking on the door

why the negativism? Nando is close to extend, Floc is almost certain, we have Dias, Radu, Stenny, Dia and Biava at the back, not to mention Del Nero impressed with the few games he played as LB. And nowhere is said Lichti is going away. Chill :)
