| After his great games in the warm-ups, and the first game in WC, it looks as if a few clubs are serious about bringing over Lichty. Lotito has replied that Lichty is not up for sale, and that something out of the ordinary is required if he is to be sold...interesting to see what price tag he puts on him; cant be that much less than the tag put on Kola | |

| Cross Schelotto off the list as well. Atalanta have secured the other 50% of his contract. He'll stay at Cesena for one more season and then join Atalanta.
Belhadj is still on the cards. Hopefully its 3rd time lucky and we actually sign him.

Belhadj is still on the cards. Hopefully its 3rd time lucky and we actually sign him. Didnt Atalanta already own 50% of him, before the rumours of him joining us started? Just curious... Edit: just realised you wrote the OTHER 50%. Now I get it. Belhadj has been great in the two games I have watched, and I guess he would be a great addition. Latest rumourt (as far as I know) is Kevin Prince Boateng from Portsmouth. They bought him for some 5-6 mil euro I think from Spurs. A central midfielder playing for Ghana, but he has a German passport if one is to believe Wiki. Any additional info on him guys? I dont follow the premiership very much, but he has been ok so far in WC... All the time this Boghossian. Feels a bit like it is him or Floccari. 5 days left of the option now... Sokratis Papapapastapolopoulous (or whatever) from Genoa? What do you guys know about him? What I have seen so far is not impressing me, but I have to agree I have not seen that much of him...

I hope we get Belhadj so we can sell Kolarov and be done with it. Prince Boateng was born in Germany so he's EU. To be honest, we need a player like him in the midfield. Would be a good signing. That said I've seen him play twice, and those were Ghana's World Cup games. Sokratis is average. But Diakite' is leaving so we need a replacement. Loan with option to buy so I guess we'll judge him over the season if we get him.

| - After missing on Schelotto, we have turned our attention to Mexican international Pablo Barrera(23 years). We are also interested in his country and club team mate Efraín Juárez(22 years). We will try to get both of them on loan.
-we are interested in highly rated attacking midfielder James Rodríguez(18 years).Estimated value 5M.

| Boateng would be a massive mistake! He is like Cassano - he doesn't listen to anyone and does what he thinks is right ... we don't need a player like him. Sokratis isn't that bad but I think we have enough players as good as him in our defence at the moment. | |

| What about Vignaroli. Heard he would return on the first chance. He had a perfect season in Serie-C1 scoring 2 goals in training session. His value is around 12-13 000 euros. Lotito this is youre chance.....you cant miss it. | |

| Hehe, yeah Vignaroli would take the place of creative genius in our team, or he could be the Kolarov replacement. I think this transfer would be right up Lotito's street - cheap, "potential" - however, Vignaroli doesn't have a Uruguayan passport so I am afraid he won't be on our shopping list Boateng is a hot headed pretty boy who would probably degrade the harmony of the squad. Plus he is not really that good - remember how he failed dismally at Spurs and only looked good at times in a very poor Pompey team. Martinese is very right to not want him IMO. Papathopolopolopolos is just another average player like Biava - why bother? We can keep Diakite and have a better player - where is the sense in getting a poorer quality backup player? Plus I am sure he is pretty handy at picking up the old red cards too. I already mentioned some Mexicans in the suggestion thread - Salcido would be my choice for LB replacement, Guardardo and Barrera are both decent too. If we are clever we could pick up some very good young players from the WC squads. | |
