Pandev was booked on 63 minutes for diving and the comentator on Radio 5 said that he has a reputation for that (?) He also said that lots has been said about Pandev being a talented player who played for Lazio but that he didn't see it and that he was just a good player but nothing special - he obviously hasn't watched him for us! Oh and he was subbed on 83, hopefully just to bring on a defender to close out the game.

Solid game by Pandev. Nothing special and didnt shine even though most attacking had Pandev in it somewhere along the play. And yes, he was diving over and over again - in the league it wouldnt have been anything special but the ref just had enough after a while...

He was down with some back pains at one time, but no major problem...

Nice game for Pandev and for the macedonian team. Macedonians are like brothers to me and most of the bulgarians

Our player Pandev has been apsolutelly crushed by the scots,he was twice injured but he managed to stay on the pitch till he was later subbed...

Great win for Macedonia. Norway was awfull as usual, I hope Macedonia get the 2nd place.

He scored one in the past game,result was 2-2

Once again we can follow Pandev on Swedish television if interested. At 20.30 Wednesday the game is broadcasted (Viasat again...). Guess it willnot have that manuy viwers though; Swdem plays Hungary at the same time...

he once played one season in Belgium, my team Lokeren ... but was the worst player I've ever seen

Why is that? He is not bad player, he played good as usual.Now you have another macedonian in your team, Ertan Demiri right?

Goran Maznov usually doesn't play well,he is the weakest player i think in the team...
Especially good players in the team are Nikolce Noveski and Ilco Naumoski.
Also that player Demiri is an etnic albanian,i havent heard about that player before...bottom line we can't really call him Macedonian...


Edit: Unfortunatelly Macedonia lost the game against Nederlands,but our Goran Pandev scored one from penalty...
we are very lucky that he plays very well for Lazio, because he is not even trying to play good for Macedonia,very weak players in the representation, Pandev is a class player...

Pandev: We can beat Milan Wednesday 17 September, 2008

Macedonian marksman Goran Pandev is revelling in Lazio's dream start to the season and is ready to take aim at a stuttering Milan side.

After last season's mid-table misery, Lazio have turned things around and sit top of the Serie A table with six points from six.

“We aren't top by chance,” Pandev insisted. “We are a young side but a very strong one.

“I said a month ago that we aren't scared of anyone and now we are travelling to Milan ready to have a great game.

“Last year we put in a fantastic performance at San Siro but this year we must win.

“Nonetheless we are keeping our feet on the ground and we have some tough games coming up like Milan and the test against Fiorentina next Wednesday.”

However, Pandev isn't taking the Rossoneri lightly and expects to meet with fierce resistance in Italy's fashion capital.

“They are having big problems but they are a side full of champions,” the experienced hitman stressed.

“I think at the moment Milan are just suffering from tiredness and we need to try and take advantage of that because we have a fast side.”

Lazio managed a 1-1 draw at San Siro in this fixture last term and a similar result on Sunday would leave Carlo Ancelotti's job hanging by a thread.

Has he still not signed a new contract? This guy is developing every day and I guess there are lots of teams that want him if he continues the way he has done so far this season. Lotito should, asap, give Pandev a contract that he cannot say no to. As much as i was wrong about him a few years ago (I thought he was overrated and not reliable) I think he is devloping to one of the most important players in our team and he must stay with us for a long time to come if we are to build a team that can be counted on year in and year out. Pandev must stay!

he's stuck it out, been loyal, and i think he's proven a lot of us wrong staying as long as he has, despite other options. needless to say, i want to see him in our shirt for a long time to come.

Lotito won't rule out Scudetto

Lazio are flying high at the moment and President Claudio Lotito believes it's not out of the question they could challenge for the Scudetto.

“I didn't expect such a strong start, but only because I don't like making predictions,” said the patron in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I knew that had a squad capable of battling it out with anyone and the facts are proving me right. It was a great performance against Fiorentina, the best since I have been President.”

That 3-0 victory put them in second place, just one point adrift of leaders Inter, and some have even suggested a Scudetto bid.

“It is best not to make proclamations, but nor should we set ourselves limits. We will live every day with the awareness that, if we remain united, we can achieve a great deal.

This is where I admire Lotito, he has a plan and he sticks to it and goals will change as we change. Very encouraging words and Pandev will sign. I am sure of it!

I just read somewhere that Zenith will try to chase Pandev after they let Arshavin go... Personally I won't let Pandev go out from Lazio for any amount of money, but it will be difficult for anybody to refuse a really big money that probably going to be offered by Zenith... I based my opinion on Danny Alves transfer's from Dynamo Moscow to Petersburg, they paid 30 mil Euro for him!! I won't be surprised if Zenith will offer Lotito more than that for Pandev. Well, I don't think this is a problem that we should think about for now... enjoying this crazy talented player playing football with the wonder kid zarate makes a week seems like a hundred year for me! I can't wait to see our Lazio play football!
